Agree it was a massive decision(and the wrong one). Straight after NQL scored two quick tries and its a different game.

Yeh I think that could of gone either way TBH. I thought they was going to do it near the end and come back. With 20 mins to go both teams still looked liked scoring. But when Gidley knocked on with a couple to go that was it. He had a right game aswell and its typical when they really need somehing special he spilled the ball

It didn't help much when he picked up the Thurston kick in goal with one foot in touch either.

Watching as a neutral, NSW were on the wrong side of most of the debateable decisions given out there or so it appeared on first viewing.

Yeh I'd agree but I think the best team won, just. Close and exciting game which either team could of won but great for us neutrals. Do you know when the next game is?

Worrying as an England fan to see some of the talent on show, in particular the back line for Queensland, they are amazing.

Thurston was far and away MOM for me, he ran the show in the middle of the park for the Maroons.

For the blues, I don't think Ben Creagh deserved to be on the losing side, and Craig Wing was outstanding when he came on.

if anything i thought it was actually a good showing for england. wallace n campese were poor/anonymous, the outside of NSW was quite poor. yet queensland only managed 5 tries, and the ease at times that NSW made big yards from runs straight down the middle.
