IMO cant see the club selling 10 coaches to be honest with you.

The most coaches ive seen go was probably the a few seasons ago against Warrington when the club took 5 i think (bear in mind im not including finals or playoffs here). So 10 is a big ask for the club, fingers crossed that we can do it and make the stand full.. would be really good imo.

There are many cars over this side of the hills with car stickers about 'The Big One" - no, not the ride at the Pleasure Beach but our game at Wigan next month. To me it appears to be just an ordinary round of Super League but the way it is being marketed, is it a play off game or cup final?

Either way, it confirms my long held suspicions that Wigan view us as a bigger derby than Stains. Then again, back to back Grand Final wins might also confirm that suspicion...

If its' a Friday night and its' on Sky its' the settee for me, even if entry was free.

Still good effort from the marketeers at Wigan though.

OK, I will indulge you as yuo clearly have an issue with my "loyalty".

It may be easy for you to miss a shift at McDonalds to get to Wigan for a Friday night game but my job is a little more demanding.

You may be a spotty virgin but I have a family I'd like to see.

I have a season ticket for home games and a full Sky subscription so I can pick and choose my away games.

I was probably watching Leeds RLFC when your mum got drunk, finished her kebab and conceived you in a knee trembler around the corner from Ritzys.

So, if you consider yourself a more loyal fan than I then good for you. I could care less.

I don't sing. I don't chant. But the bowel movement I discarded from my body half an hour ago knows more about Rugby League than you will probably learn over the next sixty years or so.

Just to add my lowly credentials.

I used to go to every game, home & away. Even to France & Ireland, to reserve games too. And games throughout the leagues to watch other sides.

This year I've been to one game. Purely because I choose to spend my money and time on other things. I can live with myself. I can even manage a pitying smile at those whose existence is so devoid of meaning that they define the value of their existence as to whether thay see themselves as a 'better' fan of a sports team.

I went to Wigan in April on business, its got potential has that one, it could be a decent sized order, lots of commission, I'll go back to Wigan to see that client again.

But thats the only reason.



However I do wish I was 15 again, the days when all that mattered is that you went to every RL game in the season, home and away, and the scorn and ridicule from your peers if you missed one, they were simple, but happy times...
