| He should have gone for the John Terry clause. Terry must always be the highest paid player at Chelsea - apparantly it's a condition of his contract (he also allegedly wanted first refusal on manageing the club when he retired).

Sinfield is a mediocre player, I doubt whether he would be able to make his way in any other SL team.If Featherstone had been mentioned for him to team up with his old mucker the rumour would be more plausible. But as they say "no smoke without fire".
Maybe when his career ends he could team up with Ronaldo to form an academy of whingeing, moaning and complaining at refs. At this he would succeed even bettering the Portugese one.

I said this on the other thread.
Is it not ironic that our most creative player is also our highest tackler? Maybe that is a reason why our attacking flair has dissapeared. Opponents are picking out Sinfield to run at and tire out.
We need to either move Sinfield in the defensive line (which could cause further problems) or somebody else in the team needs to come up with the skill required.

Now, having agreed with you I am racked with self doubt, no a condition that often overcomes me.
