Not at all. We just couldnt break them down but it was a lot better than against the Bulls and Salford. At least we played with some speed today and looked to create things.

100% agree - doesn't achieve anything - supporters are far more important when teams are losing than when they are winning. When we're putting 50 points on teams then support isn't really needed, whereas it is important to lift a team through a rough patch.

Anyway against Bradford and Salford we were slow and looked disinterested. Today we played the game at speed and threw the ball about a bit. We just lacked a certain something and as I said McGuire deserved better support play today. He could hve racked up a few assists.

We did actually create enough chances to win the game. Only we dropped the ball before scoring.

The dicipline was much better this allowes us good field position to put points on the board. we didnt even get that against Salford.

we created nothing all game, couple of times we ran on the last (not by choice, but them closing the kicker down) and made half break, but we were still 50 out from the line.

end of the day, they played well below their ability (and have done for large parts of the year), so i have no sympathy for them getting booed by some fans

All teams play under par when beaten (according to fans). Harlequins were very good tonight and killed us off like we did to Hudds last week. In fact the 2 performances of us this week and Hudds last week are very similar. I believe this is because of how the opponents played.

Still, I enjoyed the game as I did the Salford game and enjoyed watching Quins throw the ball about more effectivly than us just as I enjoyed watching Salford tear us apart out wide.

Yes, im a life long Leeds fan but im also a fan of watching good RL and dont really mind if we lose as long as its entertaining to watch. People who get worked up and nearly pop a blood vessel in the side of thier heads really need to get out more IMO.

I was happy with the entertainment factor of the game from both sides, especially our London cousins. The only thing we lacked tonight was composure because we seemed to make as much ground in the middle of the field as them. We just made too many errors on vital positions.

what game were you watching? we didn't have any vital positions, we lacked the go forward so nearly all our kicks where from 50 meters out (how many times did no one want the ball?), we had poor kick chase, we never really looked like scoring, we never dominated them, we lost ground on so many plays it was unbelievable

end of the day we were poor at everything we did, which yes quins did play at part in. but this isn't the first time we've been poor this year, and not the first time when the players didn't look interested.

That award goes to the Bulls game 2 weeks ago. That was so bad I almost turned over.

Vital positions as in near our own line or just over the halfway line on the 2nd or 3rd tackle. That is where the lack of composue comes into it. Had we have steadied it instead of trying silly offloads and put our selves into a position to build pressure on the oppos 20 then we wouldnt have been chasing like we did.

BTW a vital position doesnt have to be the same as an attacking position.

The St Helens fans were clearly heard booing their own teams performance and it wasn't restricted to just the end of the match either.

Last nights performance was woeful and was down to a lot more than a lack of composure. Our forwards went missing apart from the first 5 minutes of both halves. Ali rectified it slightly when he came on but it was nowhere near enough. Going through a set of six having Donald, Burrow, McGuire and Hall taking the ball up while the forwards stood and watched is unacceptable. Also our kicking game was shocking. I cant recall one occasion where a kick split the fullback and winger.
