piroe is just fine in some games but last night was made for joseph.
we won't play well every game, sometimes you have to dig in and grind it out.

Firpo banned for Saturday away at Bristol C.. he really does pick up too many silly bookings. i'd like to see Schmidt come in but i suspect Byram will, he doesn't seem to trust Schmidt with many minutes.

Could really do with that midfield back up coming in soon also, i do think fresh legs were needed in that midfield half way through second half last night (Rothwell looked a tad leggy). It's a lot to ask for AO and Rothwell to go full 90 mins twice a week.

Rothwell my mom last Friday and Tanaka last night.
We must remember it has been a long time since Rothwell played two 90 minute games over a 4 day period.
It is notable that our forwards including Aaronson in particular rarely win one on one duals.

I thought he was decent against Sheffield United, especially in the 2nd half, but usually if he doesn't score he doesn't do very much, I think the amount of work Aaronson does off the ball masks how poor Piroe is out of possession.

A decent set of results overall, Sunderland are giving me Ipswich vibes, everything is going for them at the minute.

I don`t think he was that fast in his prime if I remember correctly.
I reckon Solomon once he gets up to speed will be ok but Ramazani will be missed.
If Solomon and Gnonto come off we only have James and possibly Joffy to come on for them.
I really do hope Joffy is given a chance at some time and he plays well.

A game we should/could have won with some missed chances Boggle`s header, Gnontos clearance off the line, James silly pass to Gnonto when he should have gone on his own and the dink from James that didn`t happen.
Thought he might have brought Schmidt on for Byram with 15 to go.
Bristol were very average but a point is better than nothing.

Yes agree. It’s not a bad point against a team who are tricky to beat at home. Need 3 points next week though now. Id like to see us start getting in top 2 and moving clear to put pressure on others

I like Piroe but think Joseph might start next Saturday or Farke might surprise us all and play Bamford.
