We were e but writing the team off in game 2 is just ridiculous, especially as we played very well last week.

We were poor Wigan were good.

We also seem to be getting no luck with injuries again.

From all the positivity of having a full squad in preseason to this in the blink of an eye. What happened to Handley?

I don’t think our squad of players are good enough, or balanced enough. Houdini couldn’t take us back to the top yet. Left centre is a position we have no quality in, and as others said we are light on forwards and will end up flogging Prior to death. Even half back is a concern, as we have no idea how Austin will go longer term.

The thing is, we were excellent last week.

I wouldn’t write them off just yet but I agree we were awful tonight stunk the place out in the second half.

Im not sure we can blame the halfbacks we were battered up front and bamboozled in the centres.

So much over reaction.

Poor performance from us, bad decisions and let the game get away from us. Wigan played well and took advantage.

Struggling with injuries in game last week and this week. Discipline is a big big issue I think. We really go error on error on error and give so much momentum away when it happens.

No point talking about needing a prop or getting rid of people etc. We just need to refocus, get some players back, improve our discipline and put the effort in and go again.

It is really easy to stay until the end of the game when you are winning but the true test is staying until the end when you aren’t winning, when it is difficult and tough. On that basis i get behind the team, whoever is in it and I hope they refocus and have an improved performance next week.

There’s a loooong way to go this season, anything can happen yet, but I want to see more input from Agar to improve the way we play both in games and between them.

We have the best S&C coach in the league now, we will be fit enough, so now we’re looking at the technical side and player roster. We’ve enough quality in the squad to defend robustly and challenge teams with the ball, I’m looking at the coach this year.

Yep season all but over, all our deficiencies shown up today.

Wigan good value for their win.
It didn't materially affect the result tonight but yet again we failed to score heavily enough while dominant. It'll leave us vulnerable every time. Some bad performances right through the team tonight, too many to name individuals. Time to put things right next week.

Extremely poor, like Agar said, loads of rubbish individual performances so i wont bother going into names, just an awful effort all round. Such a deflating start to the season after all the optimism coming into it. Gutted.

) under Agar. Performances like that have been all too common.

I eas being deliberately flippant, but the pre season optimism is looking very misguided, we are clearly still a long way from being contenders.

Absolutely, always have some injuries. Obv Dwyer and Bentley are self inflicted but yeah we are missing some big players, then again so are most teams. As I said I think the changing in game is difficult but we need to be more resilient, if players are out then somebody else gets an opportunity.

Good interview from Agar not pulling punches, saying some players not performing and have played their way out of the team.

Reasonably good first 20 minutes.
Some poor performances from some of our backs Walker, Briscoe and Sutcliffe along with Sezer.
But to beat Wigan you need to beat them in the middle and we were second best all round.
Don`t want to sound like sour grapes or clutching at straws but 3 of their trys looked debatable to me and on another day could have gone our way.
We also missed Smith second half.
How good is KPP and Bateman back to his best.

If that was our first choice 17 you’d have some semblance of a point (and im being generous), i can all but guarantee every team bar saints will play crap like we have tonight.
