In one of Andy Hay's last games for us (IIRC) it away at The NEW Shay. He had a stinker. A proper stinker. Eventually he got put out of his misery and was subbed off. To the relief of every Leeds supporter. So ironic cheering started at the sight of him trotting off. He must have heard this as standard cheering and appluaded the 'support' until the penny dropped.....then his face dropped.
