I've just finished the last of twelve large vanilla cup cakes that I made on Saturday that had buttercream inserted into the centre of them, the last one today was as soft as the first one out of the oven, I'm an ace at cup cakes me.

I also ate eleven out of the twelve of them, eleven large cup cakes in five days, now I have to get back to eating normal food again.

I'm getting married in July, didn't want to stop eating cake so I joined a gym.

Had a squash court booked there last night, gets a phone call from the gym saying I'd been invited to a 'New Member's Evening', so we cancelled the squash and went to that instead. When we got there, there was a buffet and cake. Oh the Irony.

I'm still counting it as one of my legitimate visits this week though.

Our nutritonalist told me that it is a bit of a myth this 5 a day lark. because some veg and fruit is quite high in callories etc if you dont do any excersize. Cant remember what was good for you though I do recall oily fish is good.

Only the Oily Fish Co Ltd will tell you that oily fish is delicious, let me ask you this, kids are generally untainted by biased vested interest commercial advice, offer them a kipper or a cake and what will they choose ?

If your kid picks the kipper then he needs medical help.

It really does have Cola in it (which sounds awful!), but you can't taste it. What it does is add moisture, and the gas in it makes it really light. In fact, it's so light and moist that you can just pick up a slice and eat with nothing at all on it. Which is rare for a chocolate cake.

We use the oh so humorously named Butter substitute instead of butter for the topping. Makes it easier to spread on the top.



Highly recommended!

Haven't got any cake so I have settled for some jammy dodgers instead
