Its another small indicator of things not being run well off the field as well as on. Falloon could and should have been allowed to play on to the end of this season IMO. I see zero point in retaining Achurch ahead of Falloon - if Segeyaro gets injured we'd be back to having no hooker at all again.

Falloon hasn't set the world on fire but most of our 'better' games have been when he's been in the side.

Perhaps it wasn't that simple to get rid of one over the over in terms of Falloon and Achurch.

Is there a suggestion we have actually got rid of Falloon? It's not always easy to tell what is going on from McDs team selections.

Who knows? All I can say is that after the year he's had, with no promise of a deal for next year, I wouldn't blame Falloon if he decided he'd played his last game for the club. Back injuries are notoriously difficult to assess after all.

Most of our wins have come with falloon in the team. Whilst he has not been great I guess the balance of the team is better

Just watched the press conference. It's no wonder morale is low when you've got a coach who looks like he can't even be bothered to be there. Could not even muster the slightest bit of enthusiasm. Body language experts would have a field day with him, the point when Segeyaro was asked about making his debut on Friday and glanced over to McDermott for a bit of support was particularly embarrassing.

the weird thing is that one on one and particularly with kids BMcD is a really great bloke. Maybe hes not comfortable with public speaking PR etc. Lots of rumours thats his bullying of squad members has grown substantially this year without JP and Sinfields steadying influence and lots of the squad have just had enough of dealing with him

I've always wondered if McDermott's military background means that he has an overbearing, authoritarian approach that may work with kids but is less effective with adults.
