He certainly lost possession in some dangerous areas for us. Was a real luxury player, but not always a luxury we could afford.

Classic Rutter at the weekend given a free header on goal and I think it either hits his shoulder or side of his body after he mistimed his jump and the chance goes begging.

The athletic nature of this squad will be far too much for 90% of the sides in this league. Given their inability to score from set pieces they just need to be a bit more decisive in front goal i.e. less touches.

Didnt see it but i did hear Brighton fans were livid. He won't get the same grace and amount of chances he got in the Championship.. Prem is ruthless as we all know.

Totally agree and whilst it`s the dream to get to the PL you have to be very wise in who you bring in.
I too am not convinced Rutter and even Sinistera will make it in the PL but you never know.
Not too many teams get promoted and stay in the PL for long.
I have to say Brentford are very much the exception to the rule on what is probably a very tight budget compared to others.

Just bring the rules in line with most of Europe and set transfer/wages/and agent spend limits based on a percentage of club revenue. Much easier to police and enforce.

The whole things a farce. It seems the authorities are happy to throw an unprecedented 15 point deduction Leeds way and then the likes of Everton etc get treated with kid gloves and even get sanctions reduced on appeal. Jokers.

PSR is now dead an buried in it's current form after Leicester getting away on a technicality. It's unenforceable. Clubs can delay/alter their accounting dates to get around the rules just like Leicester have. Shambles. They cheated and got away with it knowing that the EPL and EFL couldn't touch them. They were on for at least a 9 to 10 point deduction according to the chap who is a football finance expert on the Athletic FC podcast.

Kinnear was very scathing, he said the PL clubs jump for joy when the 3 promoted clubs get relegated each year.. the task of getting promoted and staying in the prem gets harder and harder and the new regs won't change that.

Interesting on the Hamer bid too, sounds like Hamer's agent told Leeds Sheff U current owners were open to accepting an offer (which would also mean he wanted to come too). I think Wilder threw his teddies out majorly and the retracted from that position quickly.

Same old same old. Wingers don’t create anything we’ve nothing in midfield. Need to drop Gruev for Tanaka. Ampadu was really poor on the ball. Gnonto and Joseph missed 2 sitters. Totally dominated but not enough created. Subs made too late for them to get into the game. Bloody frustrating and we don’t look like auto promotion contenders as it stands. We always seem to slip up after international breaks too

From the off Meslier putting the ball directly into touch, Joseph missing a sitter and Gnonto shooting straight at Trafford a keeper we should have signed 2 years ago.
Unlucky slip by Solomon but Bogle should have covered and Meslier should/could have done better.
Ampadu I felt needing subbing 15 minutes into the second half.
I still don`t think Gnonto is a winger and should play 10, midfield non existent and our centre halves along with Meslier look shaky to me.
My Sheff United Arsenal double looks more promising than us getting automatic promotion, play offs at best unless we get Hamer in January.
