He wasn’t and won’t be the last player to miss a season through injury, but I suppose him getting injured is the clubs fault?

Hurrell has to be up there with the least of our problems.

If we had the forwards to get us on top, and allow us to give him the ball where it suits him, he'd be devastating in Super League. Yes he has his flaws, but he is one of our few backs who can make things happen.

We would make Hurrell 10 times more effective if we played him as a Centre instead of a pseudo Prop and played with depth instead of completely flat on attack.

Lisone doesn’t need the quota spot as he’s non fed due to Samoan descent.

If Lisone doesn't need the quota spot we should be snatching him up then Martin passport frees up another NFT spot if it's needed later in season.

It wouldn’t though, his passport would free up an overseas quota spot not a NFT.

Right so if if we say got lisone that would be all our NFT spots full then with Hurrell, Lui, Seumanufagai, Prior, Martin, Cuthbertson, Lisone. So we wouldn't be able to use the quota spot freed up by the passport because we wouldn't be able to get a overseas player with out them counting at NFT as well and all our NFT would be taken if we got Lisone now?

Hi guys, new to the group so be kind for now. I'm a bit of an Nrl geek and watch every game from over there. I don't think Lisone would be a great signing for us, if we are to use a quota spot we need a better forward who can play good minutes. There are better players who are on the fringes of nrl squads who would be worth a punt on rather Lisone whose stats are terrible. But I do think it needs to be a tackle busting prop rather than a hard working prior type prop!

We have prior who is a very good signing and Ava good starting props. Then a nearer making lump for the bench with a mix of mick, holroyd cuthbertson Crosby for other bench spot, would be ideal. We need some strike in the backs though we don’t have a player in the backs who you would back to go the length of the field

Doesnt sound good for Crosby imo from what Agar said in yep. Sounds a long way off yet. Leeming is about 3 weeks away too

Currently:

OQ - Seumanufagai, Prior, Martin, Lui, Cuthbertson
NFT - Hurrell, Seumanufagai, Prior, Martin, Lui, Cuthbertson.

The NFT spot would be taken by Lisone meaning that we wouldn’t have any spots left. Martin would then receive his PNG passport taking him off the OQ.

If we didn’t get Lisone and he gets his passport then we open up a OQ spot, meaning we could sign anyone from the other side.
