Tbh I doubt there would have been a sending off even if he did see both incidents.

Prior MoM and Martin played well as did Liam along with Hurrell.
Myler didn`t do too bad same with Handley.
Losing 2 props and poor referee decisions certainly didn`t help.
Think we would have won that game had we kept our props on the pitch.
As for the nob quoting Ryan Bailey in the same breath as McIllourum you need to get out more. LOL

Now dont get me wrong, its not Mylers place to make the complaint, but when asked if he wanted to he clearly said "no". Personally if a player went inside my shorts and put his finger up my backside i would -

1 get angry
2 give him 15 mins to remove it while wriggling like a duracell bunny
3 punch him in the face
4 make said complaint

We will see what the outcome is.

Can a video ref now rule on foul play incidents or was that changed last year?

I seem to think it was changed but im not 100%. Seems ridiculous that a video ref can see that tackle in slow motion and not say anything.

I can kind of understand a ref missing it at full speed but video ref has zero excuse.

Whatever happened to being banned 'sine die'? If anyone deserves to have their career ended that way it's Tomkins, an unpleasant individual of the first order

It has recently changed. Before they could intervene and even award penalties for anything but now they can only intervene and award a penalty if the offence missed by the on field ref is a yellow or red card in the opinion of the VR which surely last nights incident was

Shame to go out of the playoffs, but went according to league placing. Losing cuthberson and Holroyd since Wembley meant we were always going to struggle in the arm wrestle, losing Ava and mik in the game made it harder, and I guess that lead to some of the more unstructured rugby we saw. After the opening 10 minutes, to draw the remaining 70 mins was an achievement in itself.

I thought you were very hard done to last night. How Catalans didn't, at the very least, have men in the bin is beyond me. On the back of losing your two props early on I thought you showed guts and determination, so much so I found myself willing you guys to win. A rare event for a Wigan fan as you can no doubt imagine!

With the CC in the trophy cabinet and obvious strides forward in the league, this can go down as a successful season. Well done to all concerned.

I don't think there is any particular vitriol from Wigan to Leeds (not from my knowledge anyway) it's good to have rivals, that's what makes the sport. St Helens on the other hand...(or 3 hands)...well.... that's another story

According to the Sky preview we were "pretty much at full strength with just Newman missing." That annoyed me as well with 2020 club captain Stevie Ward all but forgotten as well as Cuthbertson and Holroyd.

As Pie_Eyter says above, it's very much a case of credit where it's due.You did a number on us in the CC semi and showed a resilience and toughness under adversity last night that was more than worthy of praise. It's been a while since we've had a fully firing Leeds but, although you aren't quite there yet, it's a better competition when we do.

If we look at it objectively. Has he intended to injure Myler? Has he injured Myler? No. Was it reckless or careless? No. Was it intentional? Yes. And I think that intention was to get a reaction from Myler and unsettle us.

Grade A-F Carries NFA right up to 8+ matches. Now youve got to compare grabbing testicles to poking the bum. Tommy Makinson was graded F and ended up with grade D and 5 games after pleading guilty and having previous record (5 times since 2014) and tackling technique taken into account.

Joel Tomkins by comparison has seen 64 cases raised since 2009 by the disciplinary and was recently cautioned for pulling Mamos hair. Taking all that into account I believe his season will and should be over. And potentially a few games into the next. 5-8 matches for me.

Plus running without Crosby for 2 years left us playing the whole second half of a play off with 1 prop who started at 13.

Clearly we don't (and shouldn't) hold rugby players playing an aggressive physical game to the same standards as people on the street with no reason to come into contact, so it's a daft comparison. I do think he should be on the end of a sizeable ban but not to the extent of what he would face if he did it in the street.

Even more ironic coming from someone who supports a team that had/have the likes of Tomkins, Bateman, McIllouram, SOL and Ben Flower in their team not to mention Zak.

On a serious note I`ve been impressed with the youngsters coming through the Wigan team in particular their pack and Smith in the halves.

it was not great and just about sums the bloke up , but the assault by the Scroat on our hooker was yet again another to add to his list of disgusting incidents . Plays the game on the Edge ? No he is just a dirty Bastar@ . The ref and video ref saw it several times and just ignored it . They should sit out the last 3 games along with the 2 scum players . Just on a side note why were the Leeds players not inthe refs ears on the Scroats incident

i got told a story by a player who played in the 2014 magic weekend. I was laughing my nads off when i heard it. There was a bit of biff and McIllorum and Peacock got involved (remembr the mas brawl) well this is how it transpired. There was a bit of niggles and play got stopped and Mickey Mac and Peacock got involved. McIllorum had the ball in hand on the re-start and was shouting at Peacock "I bet you don't run at me now"

Peacock " I bet i will"

He did and all hell broke loose. Quality stuff.
