Mmmm i'd be suprised if he was, but you never know. I suppose leeds could use his injuries as an excuse for the one year deal...

I'm not sure you can have an "exodus" of one person.....
Re: Gibson, I reckon it depends on what sort of deal he's after and/or what sort of deal he can get elsewhere. The lad's got loads of talent, but whether he recovers well enough from his injuries to fulfill his potential remains to be seen. He's a risk well worth taking at the right price over the right period.

| I would keep him on. He has a decent amount of SL experience and is steady. The administration would know what the plans are for next year wrt a new centre, so that is what will drive it.

| It depends on the wages he'd want.
He's a steady squad player, and a good option in a number of positions, if we could get him on a cheap deal I'd say keep him as a backup.

| I would give him a 12 month extension and then review matters again.
If GH can get away with a centre partnership of Gibson and Watkins it will free up monies for a serious prop - which given the way Bailey and Burgess are going cannot come soon enough

He actually made his debut against leigh as a replacement for senior at LEFT centre and also scored a hat-trick in that position against HKR away!
I'd give him at least another yr then review it again plus he can also cover back-row,wing and FB so he offers us versatility and hopefully he will show the potential he showed when he first broke into the team.

| As Senior is staying on I'd get rid
Too slow & injury prone
Yeaman showed him up like Senior did to Horne
We need better and hopefully that will be either Watkins or a new signing giving Coady the time to develop. Gibson's had enough time

| Had Leeds managed to lose at Hull it would in large part have been down to Gibson's defence at centre. He had a couple of good moments going forward but Yeaman had a field day coming the other way.
I've long been on the record here that Gibson should be released at the end of this season to find his level away from Leeds and remain of that opinion.

Very harsh and inaccurate imo tvoc who missed the tackles for burnett's,berrigans and tickle's tries???????
Add to that the kick for raynor's try went to our left also.
So that's 4 of hulls tries accounted for and they were all on our left!!
He missed a tackle for the yeaman break and between him and worrall they missed yeaman for his try so that doesn't really add up to the large part of the blame you'd put on gibson had we lost.
We gave away silly penalties, made errors and hull gained momentum so how does that equate to gibson???

He was no worse than many others and he certainly wouldn't of warranted a large proportion of the blame had hulls comeback ended in a defeat as you suggested.
Yeaman had a decent match but gibson wasn't the only one to miss him mate nor was he involved in 90% of hulls tries we conceded.
There were "sloppy efforts" all over the park defensively mate not all down to gibson who'd of thought berrigan could charge through peacock?? or burnett get through a gap a double decker bus could of got through on our left side???
And lets not forget burgess' "Andy hay" effort on tickle!!
H e was by no means brilliant but not as bad as you say imho of course.

| Is that good or bad? His missed tackle count will make for interesting reading this week.
Yeaman appeared Hull's dangerman to me with Gibson unable to handle him defensively.
I'm sure Gibson's couple of quality handling moments will have masked his deficencies elsewhere though.

| I thought he was very weak in defence at Hull and it was notable Sinny spent more time on that side of the field as the game went on. He did have a solid game at Hudds a while back, but Yeaman took him apart. He was unable to dominate in the tackle, I think he should look to going lower than he does, too many flailing arms for me.

Gibson isn't the 1st and won't be the last centre who yeaman"beats" in a game.
I don't think his quality moments did "mask" his defensive problems with yeaman but on the same token the teams defensive errors were not all down to him either.
I'd say on current form burgess is more of a defensive liability than gibson but that's not been pointed out,is that because you rate burgess but not gibson???

Why not ? He's one of the best English centres and only 25. He's bar far Hull's best back, he's getting some decent form back to where he was. I think he'd get even better at Leeds.
