Very dissapointed tonight, but I'll resist jumping on the Agar out bandwagon. I know there are a lot of Dywer fans on this forum and he is certainly a player with an eye for the gap, but to me that is all he is. His passing, and to a lesser extent Leemings, is schoolboy level. When people complain that the halves aren't taking control it's worth remembering that to do their job properly they have to get the ball when they want it and with some expectation that it won't be flying round their head or skidding of the deck. It's boring, basic stuff, but it wins games.

Obviously a poor performance. I think we will be OK this year but we also can’t afford complacency and a return to the post-Furner season.

Said it before but the most important aspect of this season will be our retention and recruitment for next year.

Some very miserable people on here tonight! Didn't watch it but it must hve been awful to get such hatred towards Agar considering there has generally been goodwill towards him and team in our worst injury crisis of the decade!

I'll be forgiving for one awful performance given the injury crisis, the great energy/efforts in the last few weeks, and some time to get returnees back up to speed/in the right position. But it sounds like we definitely need to work on our last tackle plays!

Ive not seen the game and it sounds like we were awful, it will be interesting to see how the team react next week

Didn’t watch, sounds like I am lucky. Is it possible that those who have played the last two weeks were just knackered after the exertions, and those brought in were not at the races as they’ve not featured this year so far?

There are some massive knee jerk reactions in here. Pele slating the team for poor last tackle options when the is the first time this season we have had two people even vaguely resembling half backs playing. Tonight, one hadn't played half back for a year, the other hasn't played rugby in a year, and not played RL in a decade. To the people who are saying what do they work on all week in training your really have no idea how professional sport works. Your can't get a second row on extra kicking practice for a fortnight and expect him to be Matty Johns. The likes of sinfield and gale spend years and years doing practice, practice and more practice.

In a world where a poor kick means a 20m restart and a 7 tackle set, I can see why a powerplay is chosen

Some definitely looked jaded, Prior in particular. Bright spots for me were Oledski (starting to look the business week on week), Mellor (ran hard and tackled hard),and Broadbent (only on for twenty minutes but dangerous every time he touched the ball.) Not going to say Eastmond was a positive but I'm not writing him off yet. Dropped his shoulder and had a go a couple of times in the second and looked good. It's a confidence thing with him. Hurrell ran hard for lots of metres. Should have played him at right centre.

Not kicking it is a plan.

In fairness I think the big efforts v saints and Wigan caught up with us to some extent.

However, I don’t get how we can’t ever get to an attacking on 6th tackle. If you get organised a half can kick across the pitch and land it somewhere near the corner. With a weeks training I could still do it now wearing walking boots.

I agree it is now and then but for me when done nearly all the time it is overly cautious and easy to defend. We need to try harder to score, get a repeat set, benefit from a defender knocking on etc.
Anyway, let’s hope Gale is recovering OK.

While the lack of half backs and general scale of injuries has to be taken into consideration the sheer ineptitude and lack of a an for the end of sets has to be questioned. While the naturally gifted kickers may not be available surely a clue of basic last tackle structured plays can be coached. We brought Sean Long in to improve our attacking structure. You would wonder what they have worked on in training sessions.

Leaving Walters out and putting Broadbent on the bench sends the wrong message to me considering their performances. Not heard a coach say players need to look at themselves for a while, well Agar you need to be strong enough to leave under performers out and not reward mediocrity with a new deal.

Think that's why people are being so critical. We've seen too many of these type of performances since 2015. Probably rings an alarm bell somewhere. Let's remember that KR are likely to be in bottom 4 this year too....

Amazed by the comments saying agar is no good and should be out. Don't get me wrong he ballsed it up tonight but Leeds have been much improved recently. Sounded like Mondays review will be interesting from the interview

First game in a while, I understand that completely, but I thought Richie Myler's contribution was two tackles last night. Summed up by him gobbin off to the ref, he can stop that immediately. Thats certainly not summat we want to see from a Leeds player.

Didn’t watch the game thankfully but from what I’ve read and Agars interview I missed a woeful effort. He’s seething.

Season nearly over imo if we lose to hudds next week

Obviously an over reaction to be calling for Agars head, but some of the coaching decisions last night were not good enough.
We have a talented young kid who’s done well standing in at FB and we have two wingers that are just not good enough.
Our best winger (and one of the best in SL) comes back from injury and we play him at FB and put Broadbent on the bench!!!
And I’ve said it before, but Martin needs a rest. He’s clearly not fit and carrying effects of Covid.
Again, we have a talented back row who has played well and he gets dropped.
If Martin is about goal kicking, then it’s irrelevant if you don’t look like scoring tries!!!
What message are we sending to Walters and Broadbent?
