What I will say is that these young lads coming through really do have a great attitude. It takes some doing to come back from these setbacks. I’ve really enjoyed some of the interviews with the likes of Walker, Newman, Broadbent and oledzski. Very articulate and considered, I really hope Walker can return to his best (and better) I’m sure Newman’s approach has be motivating.

Had a setback with his recovery, won’t be back for at least 6 weeks (his next scan is in six weeks)

A big shame for Harry, however, better to ensure he is fully fit before returning. Hopefully, this does not result in further surgery and is simply a case of requiring additional conditioning to ensure he returns in better shape than he was in before the injury.

This was always going to happen after such a bad break. Other injuries usually happen after.

It would be far quicker to list the fit players than the injured ones.

I'd leave him till next season now. Let him have full preseason......

Just shows for me the changes the club made in the off season to the conditioning team and physios hasn’t worked. We’ve got a lot to go through.

Looking at this we could have Handley, Smith, Holroyd, Thompson, Sutcliffe & Mclelland back v Salford next week. Big boost considering we could lose Tetevano, Prior, Hurrell and Oledzki for International game.

Downside as mentioned before is the effect Covid might have had on the 6 players who tested positive.

People seem to have jumped on him saying he felt more breathless for a while after COVID. He's Asthmatic too. Suspect his performances will be looked on in that light now, which is both untrue, and unfair on the player...

We've been cursed this year with injuries Christopher. Never known a season like it. Just can't believe it.

Going by our 21 for tomorrow, just Jack Walker (season), Harry Newman (2/3 weeks), Zane Tetevano (covid), Alex Sutcliffe (2 weeks) and Jack Broadbent (12 weeks) out now.
