I don't think a character like Mason would fit in at Leeds, and that's exactly why I don't think GH will even give it a passing thought.

I think a move for Jamie Langley would be a good one TBH, English, Dad played for Leeds FWIR, still young at 26 so would want to play for a club thats winning trophies, and most importantly OOC.

Eastwood played his best stuff at Leeds as an interchange prop (just as he did at Canterbury and Brisbane before he arrived over here) so if Leeds are looking for a replacement that's the position they need to concentrate on.

I'd like to see Langley approached who I can see following the career path of Peacock both as a player and a leader.

Think GH will get all or the majority of what he is asking for either from his prespective club or the player himself. Letting him go without a fee would set an ugly precedent for the future. If an Australian club will not pay the cash then Eastwood can buy himself out, it depends how home sick he is.

The whole escapade leaves a bitter taste in the mouth and on first impressions Eastwood comes out of it with little credit. It remains to be seen if any blame can be placed at an NRL club's door step.

Let's say it gets to Christmas and nobody has been willing to stump up the £100k. Do Leeds risk having an unsettled player moping about the place taking up a chunk of their salary cap for 2011, or do they cut their losses and take the best offer they can get just to move him on?

Any prospective bidder just needs to play it smart and bide their time, they won't end up paying anywhere close to £100k.
