A Chev 'affro' Walker one also only my alternative was Willie Poching.




Torn between Mick Shaw and Mike Forshaw in that one, similarity in the names isn't helping I guess there.

1995. Richie Eyres (see above). I have no idea why.

The 1992 shirt is a bit tricky as it was the first departure away from the traditional Leeds design. As such it was well photographed in advance of the season. The first publicity shot I recall was Cavill Heugh with his son Ger ..... yes that's right .... Ger. After that Heugh and Shaun Wane holding Bobby Goulding up between them.

That said though, seeing/remembering Ellery Hanley emerge from the tunnel for the first time for Leeds (wearing that shirt) is right up there with the best feelings being a Leeds supporter. The anticipation was unreal. The greatest British player of his generation (IMO) playing for 'my' team.

The 2008 (?) yellow one I always think of Rob Burrow. His hair seemed loads blonder that season. Not sure if he had it highlighted or something.

For me Ellery was summed up as he came through the line against Saints at CP in the semi in '94. We knew didn't we, we knew we were wembley bound as soon as he broke through...

just dug out a old shirt blue on top and bottom, Amber in the middle, sponsor is tetley and kit is made by ellgren, thinking from the alan tait era?

Also the blue kit with rhinos in massive writing on the front I am seeing fleary and Farrell. Not sure that is accurate though

The ellgren one is probably 1994, the Craig Innes shirt. Alan Tait would do as well though.

Farrell and Fleary both wore the [size=150"Rhinos"[/size shirt.

I associate Dunneman more with the 2003 shirt he wasn't wearing when creating a try at the McAlpine in the semi against Saints (I think it was that game). Not in a gay way or anything....

That brings back memories of his fight with Perry in the WCC! That all white kit swinging punches.

Your right, it was more of a yellow though. IIRC for some reason at some point they decided they didn't like Ellgren and stuck a big Asics badge over the top of the ellgren logo, infact i'm sure that at the Cup Final in 95 it was changed to Asics?

I never liked Ellgren anyway, they made Wigan's and Warrington's kits before ours and i always associated it with Lancashire.

I can't believe I can't find the finger pointing salute that I was looking for .... never mind.

My all time favourite shirt, the 2004 home, will only ever been worn by Danny Mags.

I associate the '99 Millenium shirt with The Four Legged Tackling Beast.

Didn't particularly like the shirt though, stunk to high heaven after it had been worn for 2 hours

2008 is a rob burrow shirt for me. I foolishly bought the big thick cotton version of this shirt, all logos etc started to come off after the first wash

Yes I do, but the replica balls were the leather material like they all used to be as opposed to the rubber ones used on match days.
Looks very wide doesn't it, like the 8 panel Gilbert ball.

I'm sure I have one in my Grandads garage somewhere, a proper rubber matchday one too, my uncle got me it from Doncaster.
