Jimmy K. Not just effort, but effective effort. Great defensive reader of the game and sticks like gorilla glue when he tackles.

As Lilley has been mentioned, I think he actually looks a little overweight for a smaller guy . His defensive game needs major improvement. Some of the skills will come with experience. Difficult to predict how he will go. Not writing him off.

Keinhorst has been player of the year, and that says it all. He's an eighteenth man type player who wouldn't get into our team if it was fit and/or firing yet he's been our best. That's how bad the rest have been.

Your talking rubbish mate, Jimmy K is as good as someone like Atkins or Sarginson, its just that becasue he plays for us he cant get a game in the centres. Defensively solid and decent in attack, just not as skillful as Moon or as big a threat as Watkins (real Watkins not the impostor currently playing for us)

So what part of "he wouldn't get in our team if everyone was fit and firing" is "absolute rubbish" when you yourself admit he wouldn't play ahead of Watkins or Moon? Which on-form second row are you picking Keinhorst ahead of, Ferres, Ablett or Ward?

I'm not knocking Keinhorst, he's got a great work ethic and makes the very most of average ability, but if he's been our best (and he has) then it's little bloody wonder we're at the bottom of the league.

Keinhorst is more 'on form' than anyone you've mentioned, so in my eyes he deserves to keep his place in the starting 13.

Jimmy by plenty & imo a definate 1st 17 with everybody fit.
Lilley & Handley have also impressed imo in p1$$ poor team performances.

i've voted for jimmy as he has really given 100% every time he has stepped onto the field unlike certain soft cock's i could mention that simply don't deserve to wear the shirt

noteable mentions go to these players:
i don't think that galloway has been as bad as people have made out
ferres has always had a good dig and would have been a revelation in last seasons side,so theres still plenty to come from him imo
jjb has certainly lifted us since his return,but he needs to defend 1 in from the ruck and not out wide,although this was not his choice and he merely put his hand up for duty when selected to defend out in the centre position
garbutt has started to give us some grunt up front
lilley has looked very promising in a very ordinary side on numerous occasions
handley has been pretty good tbh and if hall and briscoe were both fit to return this weekend then it would be a toss up between them on who missed out at handley's expense

Galloway has been good.

Leeds could have Webcke, Tallis and Steve Price - but with the go forward we have atm, they would look equally as bland.

Jimmy has been one of our better players this year and if everyone fit he should still make the 17 useful bench option to have.

Galloway was poor early season, granted he is getting better every week.

Don't get the last point if Leeds had webcke, Price and tallis they would provide the go forward.

Keinhorst has been the best overall player, always wanting to run the ball and always there in tackles. That's more than what can be said for most of our lads!
