| Haven't bought one since the days when Bill Carter typed the whole thing up with two fingers on an ancient typewriter in a small, unheated, shabby little office while I counted up the takings from this weeks programme sales

| How about asking the YEP for permission to print old match reports going back as far as possible
Years ago I used to love reading the old saturday night green finals

| Stopped buying them last season after buying everymatch for over 20 years. I think the beginning of the end for me was the season of the ridiculously small square effort for the 2008 season.
After that we started analysing them and over half the pages are full page adverts and a lot of the rest of the information is freely available on the Internet.

That season was a shocker - an idiot's idea and, I might add, very difficult to store!
I keep buying them out of habit but you're right, it's rare there is anything of real interest in there. We need a true mastercraftsman like Doug Laughton to make the coach's column the most important communication channel from the club, as once it was. The older pictures and archive stuff provides a bit of post-match conversation fodder so I would strongly encourage more of that.
And can someone tell Phil Caplan to stop over-writing all of his pieces. The presence of a thesaurus does not require its constant use.
However, [u[url=http://www.rugbynetwork.net/boards/read/s102.htm?105,12744878,12746127#msg-12746127perhaps we should be thankful they still do one at all[/url[/u.

| I have to agree with Damo on this one, an electronic version is a great way to tap into the younger market. Most young people now have smart phones and a program via this media could be just the ticket. Also a year subscription would be great. Similar to a magazine subscription whereby you pay up front and just bob in and grab your copy. This would also work electronically
A live app could be just the ticket for Leeds to compliment the program. I'd be more than happy to pay £3 for an app that gives me live in game stats and try scorers etc. also with all the games being on the big screen highlights could be posted to the apps. You know come half time we could be watching back that try of the season and debating that offside etc. Linked in with this could be links to in game betting to generate cash for the club and links from within the app to download an e-program from the bookstore (Apple). the app could be a major revenue maker, ticket sales and the online shop could run off it also. Im in the process of working on one for the company i work for, once you start putting the ideas in the content you can put out there in a simple app is amazing.
Also im guessing the OP works for Leeds, can I suggets you change the formatting you use on your videos on the website. People are moving away from flash at an alarming rate (the BBC has started this also) and move into quicktime or similar. Flash wont work on iphones and this is the major smartphone on the market is the iphone. would make sense for the videos to work on these devices

| Use to buy every match but found I was reading very little of it.
With the internet/tweet updates etc get most of the information anyway.
Would be interested if an app version - at a realistic price

| Some top ideas on here
I think the Rhinos should paved the way for a southstander.com steering group so we can steer our club and the club magazine in a better direction.

Some interesting ideas on there. My favourites being squad players as program sellers and Gary Hetherington/Paul Caddick on ballboy duties.

| Mrs BR buys the ones at the home games . I try (and usually fail ) to remember to buy them at away games . I think a page with a hymn sheet like the Quins did is a good idea . Then the North stand would be able to join in with the singing . I assume it is possible to follow a knitting pattern while reading the lyrics and singing as I hear that women are good at multi-tasking .

| The premise of the poll is flawed. How can "some times" be an option when the question is are your a regular programme buyer?
Anyway, no not any more. I used to, but now I don't. Better things ti spend my £3 on.

| I only buy a programme for the finals I go to, and even then only when I remember. £3 is a lot to pay each week for something which isn't that interesting

| I'd rather spend my £3 on a pint in all honesty! The only thing I ever read are the programme notes from the coaches and captain, and those are just what's on the website on the day before the game!

| I always buy a program, I browse through it in the pub after the game and read it thoroughly on saturday morning while i'm still thinking about the game. The only critisism I have is some times the multi coloured print ,I.E the lettering sometimes colour sometimes is hard to distinguish form the page
