I had some Morrisons veggie sausages at a bbq this year, they were quite nice until I realised that I was tasting the coating that they came out of the box with and not the actual sausage content - when you removed the skin and just ate the actual sausage replacement "meat" it was totally tasteless and resembled a dry powder.

Now I love vegetables, there isn't one fruit or vegetable that I wouldn't eat whilst there are several meats that I won't touch, but I could not enforce myself to become totally veggie simply because I don't think its a viable, tasty alternative to being a carnivore, I like to experience eating food rather than eating it simply for nourishment.

No no no......the best veggie sausages are the Quorn ones. You can get lots of different flavours. The nicest are the cheddar cheese and leek ones.......lovely.


As a carnivore I only really ate chicken with a little bit of ham thrown in. The only thing I missed was chicken but with the expansion of the quorn range, I soon overcame that.

There are loads of tasty alternatives on a veggie diet. In fact Danny, (an avid meat eater) has begun experimenting with veggie dishes and makes a fab briam which is both tasty and viable.
There is also the added bonus of it being a healthy diet.

You should try it for a week.

I did my own research and found that athletes foot actually tastes better than quorn.

I'd agree. Athletes foot has something about it, i dunno, it just gets under your skin.
