One of many things that I just don't understand right now is recruitment. Having off loaded Walters, Mullaley and others, I was stupidly thinking that this was creating space under the salary cap. Nothing! Meanwhile, Hull and Catalan bring in decent props. Speaking of which, where is Crosby? Nothing from the club about a likely return. He is no world beater, but we could use him right now.

It's astounding how a club with such an embarrassment of resources has been so poorly managed to end up in this state. The jobs for the boys approach appears to not work, though this has been a club ethos for years from scholarship level upwards. I'm sure JJB and McGuire will have roles next year.

Heard nothing in recent weeks. He was supposed to have a chance of being fit for the Wakey game a few weeks ago, but then it all went quiet. And Garbutt was released for spending too much time on the treatment table. Sinfield has some serious questions to answer.

Did anyone look at the London stats? Never seen that before, 64 missed tackles, double our own. How the hell do you manage to lose to that sort of defending.

That was my first thought when I looked at the stats too. Then I looked across the page and counted the errors, 12-6. That probably has something to do with it.

I was disappointed with literally everything yesterday.
I purchased a season ticket for the first time this year and I’m placed in the western terrace. I originally wanted to get a seated season ticket but there were non available so I went for the standing option there . It’s a very cheap price but now I can see why. There is literally nothing there apart from a tiny bar. I saw loads around Facebook etc about the Irish themed things going on and Guinness on tap etc . I read it in detail and it was literally only in the south stand concourse . There were plenty of home and away fans in there asking for a Guinness and they didn’t have any. As I can’t get acces to the south stand during the game I feel penalised and feel like a marginalised Leeds supporter purely because I’m not in the south stand. Leeds have placed a lot of supporters in the western terrace and they need to be respected . No entertainment goes anywhere near that terrace. Regarding yesterday’s performance.... I was very disappointed. I think Peteru had the best game I’ve seen him play and I was glad to see Tom Holroyd playing but apart from that we looked terrible. I can’t see how Sutcliffe is a second rower and I don’t know why we’ve spent so much time chasing Ava Seumanufagai when he has no desire to come . Plus he’s injured anyway! We got rid of Garbutt and we haven’t replaced him. I’d like to see us going for a solid player like Kyle Amor who was made available at the beginning of the season . He’s had some decent game time so far but I’m sure he’d still be available if we pursued it. I never thought I’d say this but I think we are missing the penalty machine Carl Ablett . Finally I’d love to see McLelland get a chance.

A quality championship team who have beaten Leeds,. Wigan and Wakefield. What have you Done. We never expected to beat saints and cas this season and I doubt many teams will but we went down fighting and with pride in our team. Can you say the same of leeds

Kyle Amor back to Leeds ? I suspect he would rather go back home to Whitehaven than come back here . I thought he was treated really badly when he was here

Was he? I got the impression it just didn’t really work and so we got him on loan to Wakey was it? I don’t really remember him impressing particularly but then not being awful either.

Sorry but Amor is a backwards signing not a forwards one.

With this batch of academy prospects coming through, we need to focus on quality not quantity.

Inspiration is part of leadership, and that’s what the younger lads will need.

I'd take Amor until the end of the season, he's aggressive in attack and defence, makes 15-20 carries a game, and consistently makes good metres. Plus, he's better than most of what we already have.

We need to make a statement of intent. I’d go for George Burgess now, with a back end loaded 4 year contract if necessary.

He’d be a good complement to our pack and would be around for a good number of years to help develop the younger props.

For me Oledzski and Peteru have been two highlights of the poor year so far. George would fit the bill; problem is that he can also be rocks and diamonds, and consistency of performance is already an issue. Between him and Hurrell you’re probably guaranteed to drop the ball 6 times every game.
I do think we need some real quality in that front row: a first choice starting prop while Oledzski, Holroyd, Dupree come through.
I like the idea of Burgess, Oledzski and Holroyd piling in for 2020, that combo would cause most sides big problems.

We have a decision to make at hooker too because I really rate Johnson coming through, he is class.

George Burgess??? Can't see him queuing up to join Leeds anytime soon. Why the hell would he leave his well paid life in Australia to come and join us. Let's start getting real.

He’s a Leeds fan and has already said he’d love to play for the club.

He's so much of a fan he walked out on Leeds to sign for Bradford.

He was asked in an interview while at Headingley if he would consider in the future signing for Leeds of course he said yes. If it had happened at Wigan, Saints, Warrington he would have said yes to if he would consider joining them in the future.
