With no new signings on show last year it was the first Boxing Day game i missed for donkeys years-that coupled with the fact the tickets were practically full price.

I will be there as well. Burrow will be playing as well as the new signings and possibly a few other regulars. Although I dont expect to recognise anyone in the second half. Eastwood should be intervied by Barrie (worth the addmition price just for that)
All in all it will be a fun way of spending 2 hours

I wouldnt think so. I think that the clubs respectively will want them to join them for Pre-season, to gel into the squad. I wouldnt expect them to be involved due to the fact that they are not involved in the clubs plans for the season.

IF you are wanting the team to gel like like you say then why are you playing Webb at 6?

I was referring to LS16_Rhino asserting that Buderus must have recovered, when the article says nothing of the sort. It just says he "could" feature - in much the same way that GH "could" put his boots on and make a comeback himself. Neither are likely to happen IMO - with the possible exception of Delaney I'd be surprised if any of those currently rehabbing injuries (including Senior, Lauitiiti, Jones Buchanan and Buderus) featured on Boxing Day.

Still, saying that up front won't do much for the attendance. Better to get punters to buy tickets on the promise of a strong side then stiff them with nothing of the sort.

I'd also expect a couple more of the youngsters to be given a run out i know definately out are Mcguire,Peacock,Sinfield,Hall,Jjb,Senior,Eastwood,Kylie and the on loan players.I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple of young trialists either.

Why JJB? I would expect one of either Brooke Broughton or Chris Clarkson to be playing. I would be more than happy with playing more youngsters/trailists if its beneficial to the club and the development of the guys.

He's had a knee "clearout" op and is in the "rehab" group with Senior,Kirke,Buderus and Delaney although the latter is expected to be fit for boxing day it's just follow on re-hab from his hamstring injury.

Who else are you going to play at stand off from that squad? only Ablett is other player who is capable.

Highlights how short we are throughout the club for halbacks.

But then again, that was just Frosties guess squad. What we see on Boxing day may of course be completely different.
