It is possible that with the lack of clarity offered by the postcode authorities, many people were unclear as to whether they were eligible to attend said testimonial match.

This is very tricky.

I was going to recommend driving the two routes (you'd have to do the Headingley journey in two parts to take into account Newlay bridge) to give an accurate assessment of where to place future loyalties but travel time and even distance aren't really in the spirit of the post code test. It needs to involve a more arbitrary administrative boundary I'd have thought.

I think you'll need Danny to make a judgement - there's nobody more knowledgeable about the PCT than him and I reckon his analysis is likely to be spot on.

If you were born in Leeds you can support teams with Leeds in their names ..Tykes , Rhinos , United (if you are a gayer) , etc etc

But you must forgo attending any of the 'Leeds' Games if the team that plays nearest the exact place where your momma screamed ,as she pushed you into this world , has a game that coincides .

Anyone born outside the postcode catchment area should not support Leeds Rhinos, also any part-time/casual supporters are not welcome either. Also while we're at, it what about these bloody Aussies and Kiwis who think they can just play for our club and contribute to it's success, it's disgusting!

I know this all means a less successful club, crowds of less than 10k, fewer merchandise sales, decresed global appeal etc, BUT WE MUST HAVE PRINCIPLES!
