That's the line that's been trotted out whenever I've questioned his onfield input anyway.

He was named in tonights u20 team to take on Hull at stanningley so i guess if he's not there it could be true.
It would be a good move imo 1st team chance at SL level can only benefit us and him long term.

I don't think so mate it's a specified date not whether or not it's a loan or permanent transfer.

Not sure mate but we've signed loan players from you in the past on the Saturday and theyve played on the Sunday for example.

Probably won't be announced until Monday anyway if it's true. Would be good for both teams though.

regardless if he does sign on loan to hull Leeds could not possibly stupid enough to allow him to play. if we get knocked out then he can crack on but i would give long odds on him playing

On another level, given the clubs that were more than happy to take league points off us when we had a crippling injury crisis (that is only just starting to ease now), why are we helping those clubs (who, it could be argued have a poorer youth / reserve set-up than ourselves, which is why they are short of resources) and who are above us in the competition.

As they were all so gleefully happy to tell us during our dark days this season, injuries are a by-product of the game and you have to deal with them as best you can.

I'd have no objection to loaning players to clubs in the National League or under dual-club contracts, but not to another SL club on a short-term deal .... I'd make an exception for the likes of BJB (on a season-long loan), who we knew we were going to be without for the full season.

I really hope this is one of the rumours that end up being true. Young McShane could do with an extended run in SL.
