| I honestly wouldn't play anyone who might be part of the plan against Wigan for anything longer than a fitness hit-out. What is the point? We need fresh legs and the turnaround is way too tight between the two games.
That's why Whiteley has been brought in, to cover at 9 for Dwyer at some point I'm guessing (so I imagine he will play). I would play Hurrell off the bench, controversially. I wouldn't have Walker play 80 mins frantically covering against a very big and physical side, after coming back from a bad foot injury (and he's injury prone at the best of times). I agree with Gotcha here re. him and Myler. Give credit to Myler though, I'm generally not his greatest fan but he's done a great job at the back this year.

| Quote ="Gotcha"I think you are getting yourself mixed up here mate. I didn't dissapear, and I did comment, I just don't take anything serious in it though, as the game is a farce currently. Playing Hull KR to be fair is like playing a league one side currently. Look at my comments after beating Salford, look at my comments after beating Huddersfield, they do not stack up to the picture you are trying to paint right now.
As for Oledski, come on mate, you know very well I have singled him out in three matches of late as our number one player, as you have commented in response to me.
As for Myler, you want my comments, here they are. I think he looks great linking into the line, and attacking in the oppossition 20, I would even say as an edge over Walker. I even think he might be slightly faster than Walker. But I don't think for one minute he should have the shirt over Walker, as I think your fullback needs to be more safe at the back also, and he is awful with the kicks, and out of position for defence, where I think Walker is far better. So yes, against a team like Hull KR Myler would be a great pick, but for a semi when the game done properly, no way should he be there.'"
Nice to hear some positives from you Gotcha. Go have a lie down now it must have been difficult for you.

| So disappointing not to be able to watch Loui make his first team debut either by being there or on tv. So proud of him, not come across a nicer young man or family in the game, his parents are a real lesson on how to support your child in the best way.

I’ve always enjoyed watching Loui - less flashy than some but some quality about him.

We have 4 season tickets in our household. Thats 4 codes. I only needed one so i gave the other 3 codes to non-ST mates. Ive paid for my season tickets and not requested a refund so fairplay i reckon. I think once a code is redeemed though it cant be used again.

League One standard team yet wasnt we told Tony Smith had transformed the sport just a week before with his brilliant and exciting style of play? Then when we spank them twice the sport is a farce and not worth watching. Doesnt quite add up does it?

Its not so much the code Seth as that is linked to your log in details ie email address and password i think. If you had somebodys log in details you would be able to log in. For the KR game i logged in on my phone and then thru my xbox so i could watch on the TV.
I might be totally wrong but i dont think you could log into OurLeague under your account and watch with my code for example.
Not allowing people to buy a code sums up RL in a nutshell.

Are you for real? So no food in the shops - that's going to be fun - no supplies for hospitals again great call - what next no emergency services like electricians, plumbers builders to repair leaks etc. Do you realise how stupid your comments really are.
Perhaps if vulnerable teachers stopped going to parties and mixing with each other then they would reduce the risk of infecting those poor vulnerable colleagues - they don't really want to teach.
We have to live with the virus until a vaccine is available - yes it kills people so does flu, so does smoking - so does eating too much so do we ban smoking, ration food, lock people in houses forever to stop the spread of seasonal flu?

Because the impact of all this has had significant impact on RL and unless we learn to live with it the sport will be back to a part time sport with a number of smaller clubs failing.
You have to question what validity does this game have given the team Leeds are putting out - the last time I remember a team this weak was under Powell against Castleford - its a farce. What was the point of the Saints v Wigan last night?
Unless we learn to live with the virus this will not only ruin this season it will also wreck next season too - simple really

Didn't we go with a very similar sort of team against Wigan in 2017?
Leeds: Walker, Briscoe, Keinhorst, Sutcliffe, Newman, Goldin, Lilley, Garbutt, Jones-Buchanan, Baldwinson, Ormondroyd, Ablett, Mullally.
Replacements: Oledzki, Jordan-Roberts, Smith, Whiteley.
What was the point of Saints V Wigan last night, ask those kids that got their debuts if there was any point, one of the (not very many) positives of this season is surely that some of the kids will get a chance to play?

| Teams like this have happened from time to time. I remember Laughton sending a kids team to Saints. Graham Murray sent a weaker team to Halifax. The Cas and Wigan games mentioned.
It doesnt damage the sport, its not all going to collapse as people have threatened for 40 years that ive known.
All these people moaning and groaning about the sport being a farce offer no alternatives. The game is 3 days before a Cup semi final so what other options are there for the club?
People want kids to play and then when they do the sport is a farce. Personally im looking forward to seeing how they go but fully expect it to be hard going for them

Because the sport has no alternatives doesn't suddenly upgrade the quality of the contest or increase its legitimacy. Whilst it might have been great for those kids and their parents that they got to play for Wigan first team it does little for credibility of the sport when one of its prime fixtures is treated with such scant regard.
People want to see kids integrated into the first team in a way that the overall standard isn't diminished to a farce.
Teams in the NRL seem to be able SOO on a Wednesday and their stars manage to play 3 days later in the competition. Even by the deluded opinions of some on here neither a SL game nor a CC semi comes anywhere near close to the intensity and physical attrition of a regular NRL game never mind a SOO game.
The integrity of the sport if the only thing it has - lose that and you lose everything. The games involving these 4 clubs should have been moved or cancelled - teams only have to play 15 games!!

I meant lockdown like the initial one btw Sal. Businesses could've coped with a 1 month hit then Chris, but people don't care to see the big picture.

Big up to Parkrun, who are allowed to reopen, but aren't doing so to protect people from themselves!

I call it a farce, not on tonights game, that happens in other seasons, but simply because the current season is worse than a farce.
I completely dissagree on your second point. Of course there is a viable option. Cancel the bloody season, it should have been done in June. That was the only viable option in reality. The fact that greedy chairmen thought they could get crowds in at some point, just showed how out of touch they are with the real world.

Good luck with having a full league of teams being able to compete next year without having the Sky money from this year, cancelling simply wasn't a viable option, why don't you just take it for what it is, some rugby league being played when there's little much else going on and the teams fulfil their obligations to Sky so we can get paid.
Whatever damage you feel this season is having on the game, not getting money from sky this year would make that pale into significance.

Businesses coped because of massive amounts of money injected to them by the government, that will not be available if we lock down again, I'd say you are failing to see the big picture, businesses have been decimated and a lot gone to the wall, another lockdown will be the nail in the coffin for those just hanging on. What happens when we reopen again and cases spike, another lockdown? rinse and repeat?
Can I just ask, what is your wife terrified about? My wife is on the 'frontline' and because of a lack of PPE is going to work in what can only be described as a Gas mask, she has had Covid (she wasn't ill) which I presume means I have had it, she isn't terrified, she's bloody sick of it granted. Yes this virus can be a killer but in the vast, vast majority of cases it just isn't.

What makes you think businesses can cope with a further one month lockdown - hospitality is already struggling with 10 shut down. Who pays their rent, business rates? The last lockdown 80 of my employees lost their jobs - I haven't taken any pay since March and you have the audacity to suggest more of the same - you haven't got a clue. No doubt you work from home in the public sector - nice safe job. There will 4m unemployed in this country by December - that would increase significantly if we had another extended lockdown
Perhaps she needs to wear a Hasmat suit whilst teaching to protect herself given she is so vulnerable and terrified - personal responsibility.
