Surely this is just 18 pages of rubbish. I would suggest that it is a pure business decision, for most people the actual ticket price is probably not the major cost of an away trip and a differential of £5 or £6 is neither here nor there in the scheme of things. For this reason I would suggest that the actual numbers attending are not particularly price sensative as far as the ticket price is concerned. Presumably someone has done the maths and come to the conclusion that a roughly 25% increase in price will lead to a drop in attendance of something less than 25% (my guess is that the drop will probably be less than 10% but who knows) hence the actual gate receipts will go up.

Fair to the away fans - probably not but if you don't like it the answers simple, don't come.

In answer to fat boys never ending whine as to why is the north stand the most expensive - because thats the way the club think they'll make the most money.

If the cost of supporting your club home and away is that you feel ripped off so be it (I certainly feel that way when I get wet through at Headingly!)

If the high price of tickets is to deter away fans from travelling it had the desired effect last night. Even allowing for a sat night tv game that was by far our worst following at the kc when I have been.

The type of fans that travel to away games are not the fickle, easily swayed type. I seriously doubt that a kickyball game would put that many off attending.

We had 12 people on our coach, compare that to 48 last week @ Salford. The regulars that didn't go were just turning up to watch it in the club as we departed. They were mainly blaming the price of the ticket for not going.

Sat night tv game will have put a few off. Bank holiday may have accounted for some that were away for the weekend but price of tickets certainly will have been the cause of plenty of fans giving it a miss.
