I was following the latter stages of the Crusaders - Wigan game on the 'Sportinglife live-update window' and at the time they reported a 26-42 lead to Wigan change to 26-48 with Gleeson's 80th minute try and Richards' conversion.

If I'm guilty of anything it's in trusting Sportinglife.

Spoken like a true politician during an expenses audit!

Sportinglife made a mistake at some point during their live update service (a window that isn't linked to for long after the game concludes, so you either saw the problem live or you didn't) and I posted in good faith based on that piece of (as it later transpired) false information.

And that's all I have to say on the matter until I've had time to consult with my lawyers.

A preliminary run through suggests that Number 2 will be this week's top tipster with a whopping 12 (including three correct margins.)

A record number (by far) of correct margins being predicted this week, (even I got one, doubling my total for the season) and these have been a recurring problem for the administrators, so this week's scores and update could be an interesting one after the borefest of last week.

No pressure Frosties.

Well people will have to wait for the update due to Challenge Cup weekend this week

Although the scores are in, and finally we only have eight people in the top eight.

Why the need to wait?

Will the RFL not be updating the SL table this week because it's a Challenge Cup weekend up next?

After a good start to the season I’ve had a run of bad results and now I’ve dropped out of a play-off spot and will probably slip down the league totally unnoticed until languishing at the bottom – wallowing in my own self pity and blaming everyone else in the world for my failings
