What "past mistakes"? Be specific, you've just made a general statement which doesn't actually make sense under scrutiny.

Leeds shipped 60 early season so based on that alone you could argue he has learnt. Furthermore, tonight leeds problem was dropped ball, which I don't think was the main issue in Newcastle.

Cas are just better than us this season, but we can probably beat them once out of 5 attempts if we are at 100%.

Couldn't believe the amount of dropped ball. I've not seen the stats but it must have been in the 20s.

Positive is that we defended well against them. We coukd have won if we'd ever manned to get near their line

I'm still not writing us off after that. We can't drop as much possession as that again surely? We're in dire need of a cool head in the team. The petulance was embarrassing at times. I thought we kept our attack too narrow, and should've got the ball wider of the ruck more often. Cas were strong in the middle - they were miles better in this area than last week, and their line speed was excellent. We should've adapted to that. I actually thought we should've tried a few more chips over the top as our kicking game from deep was terrible, and Cas' kick pressure was also on point.
I thought we defended OK overall, but we made it too easy for Cas because of our failure to control possession.

What excuse this time?
Did we land lucky in a tough draw playing Hull away in a QF last Sunday while you played, who was it again.....?

Same mistakes of not using his subs properly, one went completely unused and another got 20 mins top, we looked absolutely shot and the error count was partly down to fatigue

Also if you ever wanted to push Jack Walker into Wires hands, try sitting him on the bench for 80 mins in a game where we needed some attacking spark

I didn't think we looked shot. Not psychically anyway. I do think Mullally deserves more game time though, he makes an impact every time he's on.

No team can win a game dropping that amount of ball , especially when you are playing the best team in the league - but you also need some tactics on how to stop the opposition playing .Unfortunately we have a coach who doe not do tactics - he is braindead - so we have just seen the GALE mastershow , with the Leeds team as spectators - he could have played in a dinner suit tonight - heard this somewhere before , but its true!

Our pack bullied by the cas pack, ferres definitely not fit. Handley as I have previously mentioned not good enough. Briscoe seems to be regressing week by week. We got drawn into petty niggles in the second half. Bad enough dropping the ball , unfortunately it seemed mostly on our 25 yd line.
Worryingly we did not create a lot of chances, our tries were gifted from cas. Looking on the bright side surely we can't play as bad as that again. Plus cas at the moment seem to be superior to most other super league teams.

The one man out stuff was met with far quicker cas line speed. On attack cas were miles ahead.
We are so slow as a team it is unreal and so reliant on cuthbo, moon and parcell. The fact that team was third before kick off shows it's a tripe league

Good job Leeds had an extra two days prep or it could have been even more grim.

This is poor side that is under invested in and very poorly coached - things need to change, sadly that will not happen.

As Gotcha said " Briscoe - the lad is world class" I must be watching a different game.
