I always thought it was one of our Chief Executive's inventions.

I even sat in my old Northstand seat when I came home at Easter,but It was also the years catching up with me when I moved out of the Southstand.When the big crowds started to come and I didn't like having to get in too early,as well as that bl00dy

Actually the Northstand can be very entertaining if your sat near someone who likes to shout,and then listen to someone who disagrees with the nonsense he comes out with

Western Terrace is where it's at lads.

Carnegie Terrace - no atmosphere
Carnegie seating - prawn sandwich brigade
Southstand - annoying band
North Stand - where Leeds fans go to die

It may not be Prawn sandwich brigade in the carnegie seating but looking at tad lately it's certainly not Pies ,Chips OR Cake he's a young SLIM Yul Bryner!!

I, I think I saw him when in the bogs on Monday, and thought is that the same guy.

The Western Terrace is full of chunky wobbly people. It's like a bad jelly advert when anyone scores.

I went in the south stand for years when you could stroll in twenty minutes before kick off and bag a decent spot. The downside was we never won much in those days . Unfortunately I am somewhat of nomand wandering between the north stand and other parts of the ground. Let's be honest the south stand generates the atmosphere for the whole of the ground.also they do a first class job of reminding some referees of the rules of the game.

Not from what I saw....................more the pie and peas brigade, bloke just up from me used to drop them all over himself then proceed to fart all game!!

I Personally dis like the drum i used to stand in the south stand a did for over 10 years , i now stand at the back of the posts or the top corner edges

the drum was the main reason for me moving out of the south stand - no doubt the few sheep that stand around it enjoy it , and sing and clap when promped to so but to me its anti social noise

I stand about 15/20 steps away from the band but I join in with the singing....naughty me!

So say for instance when the team comes out at the start of the game and they do the usual chant you don't sing "Rhinos"
Because if you do your comment is a little hypocritical.

I've had enough of the band to...but it's not as bad as that awful "win when it matters" and "we'll win it from eiiiiiiggggttthhhh" chants

Fans of all other clubs I know take the mick about the band and say they drown out any chance of an atmosphere!

Case in point, the same old tunes....what purpose does the Wallace and Gromit theme tune have to a rugby match?! Or after each try..."there's only one <insert name here>, one <insert name here>"?!

I can really see how a band can bring embarrasment to a RL game!!
They're no more embarrasing than the p1shed up chavs ,senile old gits who are either bitching because they cant stand in the same spot they think they own or telling anyone around them a player should be sold because he's just missed a tackle or dropped the ball then we have the mouth-piece who just slags Bailey off every game and i still can't see the pr!ck but you can hear him.
Then of course you do us all proud don't you WCR?

So you need fans of other clubs to tell you something about the team you "supposedly" support?

Ill tell you as a Leeds Rhinos fan, it [uDOESN'T[/u drown out any chance of an atmosphere, it definately adds to it.

My main (If not only) memory from that game however wasnt the noise the South Stand was making. It was of Paul Sterling getting the ball in the RH corner of the pitch at the West Terrace and near enough beating the entire Adelaide team on the way to scoring at the other end.

Meh. We only sing when were winning, or losing heavily anyway. Chill the F out people.
