| Will Ablett ever play a game without switching to centre.
Hopefully the injuries aren't too bad.

| I think we were a bit unlucky with injuries. No doubt having Delaney in those last 20 mins would have helped and losing Hardaker disrupted us in defence. Having said that Cas ran and tackled harder. If you run and tackle harder than your opposition you'll probably give yourself a chance of winning the game.
I'm sure we were knackered in the last 5/10 mins but we still made far too many mistakes.

| The Chase hit looked more of a forearm smash than a shoulder charge but I haven't seen a good replay of it.

It would have been better if they had beaten Warrington as well and if they go on and take points off Wigan and Saints.

We were the bigger team on that pitch today and pure brawn won the game. The game wasn't half as close as the score suggested - we struggled with that last bit of magic to put the ball over the line.

It looked very reminiscent of his 'challenge' on Tangi Ropati last season to me, after seeing it on Super League full-time earlier.
Would be surprised if he escapes a ban.

| Same old SL, at the end of the day Leeds dont have to win every game. When the going gets tough you can win SL no problem.
As a Saints im not too worried by our start either, it usually takes the top teams a couple of months to get going. Wigan, Wire, Saints and Leeds will be up there, that there is no danger.
Good luck against Melbourne lads.

| Carney owned, erm funny that csuse i cant remember him getting the ball that much but did drop on it a few times near his own line and take an high ball in the corner. However it did take 4 of your players to put him down when he was running the ball up the middle and his big hit on watkins was awesome ryan who ?

| its Always a tough pill to swallow when edged out by our neighbours but fair play to Cas,maybe they just wanted it that little bit more and that saw them home in the end.
At least we got the tough work out we were looking for before the Melbourne game as friday against Salford, with all due respect to them, may not be much of a contest with their current situation.

| Second best on the day, I knew the completion rate was poor , this was confirmed as I watch last nights super league show. Fifty per cent was our total , that's a big mountain to climb to win a match . Anyway onward and upward it's gone and let's get things back on track this Friday .

| Cas got the job done. Deserved 2 points.
With Delaney and Bailey going off early on with knocks, the packs juice was going to be tested more as the game went on. So I know they had to keep freshening the pack as best as they could. But with 5 mins left to take off JP to bring back on Achurch was a risky call IMO. We could have done with JP's experience to see the game out down the middle.

I was impressed with Achurch, he ran it in hard and got through the graft. However he did a couple of dodgy offloads which would probably have come off in better conditions.

Dont think there is one.
The sky camera's are inconclusive.
Not sure if any other camera's where there to pick it up.
Watching from the WRE it just looked a good hard hit. I'm sure the RFL will get it right on this one

On a dry pitch in sunny conditions, Achurch would have probably ended up with a 10/10 performance.
On a pitch like that and in those conditions, either he is brain dead or he was having a brain fart. Cost us big time with his stupidity. The offloads he tried were never on.
He ran onto the ball hard, and he made yardage, and he should have kept at that, simple.

Achurch put a shift in. But in those conditions you have to keep it simple. Achurch wasn't the only guilty party. Burrow and Kirke dropped a few clangers between them.
Nice to see some constants remain:
- Leeds are fifth.
- The curse of the pink kit continues.
- McGuire scored against Cas again.
- Wellar knocked on.
- Ben Cross got sent off this week.

I've only seen it once , side on, from the game and Zak was out before he hit the floor. Read into that what you will.

| You're always gonna struggle to win games if you're on the wrong end of successive penalties (rightly or wrongly awarded), you lose to much cheap ball and you get pinged for forward passes (again, rightly or wrongly awarded). In fairness to Cas, they don't seem to try and gain an advantage by passing the ball flat/slightly forward, hence they weren't pulled for it. Losing Delaney and Bailey so early was always going to cost us on such a draining pitch and JJB wasn't 100% after a facial cut and then almost being knocked cold reduced his effectiveness. Hardakers exit really was the icing on the cake when we were already struggling. On another day we might have pinched it, but I can't complain about Cas getting the 2 points. We wanted a good workout in preparation for the WCC, I'm not sure we wanted one this good though Defeat isn't terminal, let's just hope the injuries don't impact too much on our immediate aims.

So was lincoln withers on saturday.
Head clashes do that to you.
Lets hope the RFL look at it and we get the true findings.
Not look at it being rangi chase and automaticly find him guilty.
Any other player and nothing would be made of it.
