We have signed Andre carter aswell what are your feelings on him? I haven't seen many Redskins games in recent years so don't know how he has been performing.
Most Pats fans more in the know than me seem pretty happy.'"
Carter is a model pro and a very good 4-3 DE. His only down seasons have been when asked to play OLB in a 3-4. Once in SF and once with us last year. He simply can't cover.
If Bellicheat has bought him to rush the passer in 403 sets than he's a great pickup. If he's asking him to play OLB it's not so good. Either way a great pro and a great locker room presence. Unlike the other fat jerk.

| Very excited to announce I, along with a pal, have just booked a 6 night trip in November to see the Raiders play in San Diego on Thursday night and the Redskins in Miami the following Sunday. Flights and match tickets booked and just hotels needed now.

I'm planning on seeing the Cowboys in November too. Cowboys vs Bills (we should win that one) Nov 13th, a week's tour of Texas and then a week in Mexico.

| The Eagles season pretty much rests on Michael Vick IMO, I can't see Vince Young doing much if/when Vick gets hurt no matter how good the rest of the team is.

| I hope Vick doesnt get hurt for the sake of my FF but if he does I think Young will be good enough to come into that team and perform. It's not like he is an average backup QB. Anyway, I still dont think the Eagles will be the best team in the NFC.

| NFC East - Eagles
North - Packers
South - Toss up between Saints and Atlanta, I'll take the Saints marginally.
Worst division in Sports - The Rams, can't trust Alex Smith and I'm not sure how long Frank Gore can keep producing the goods. Lots of miles on that body. So I shall take the Rams providing Sam Bradford remains healthy though they could come out on top with a losing record.
AFC East - Patriots
North - Pittsburgh. The chances of the Ravens enjoying a turnover differential of +13 is virtually zero and I think they may end up 9-7 or so. Bengals stink, I think they may struggle to win five games all year.
South - Colts
Out West - This maybe the year where the Chargers make a strong start and end up with 12/13 wins.

The only problem with Vince Young is that he seemed to be a bit immature at times when at the Titans and allegedly not too fond of Jeff Fisher as Fisher wanted Jay Cutler but was trumped by the Titans owner.

Not at all. A season of real progression for the Redskins. Building from the bottom up and it's looking good.
Nor do I think the Iggles will buy the superbowl. They're stiff a significant way behind Green Bay.

| I struggle to believe how many experts and fans have already anointed the Eagles NFC Champions. Granted they brought some high calibre players to an already good team but when did Michael Vick really perform to an elite level in the Play-Offs?. By the time January rolls around he is usually banged up a little and is not as elusive as he was in the earlier weeks of the regular season. With the reduced mobility he is nowhere near as effective and his mechanics have a tendency to become a little sloppy as well.
I'll take the guy In Aaron Rodgers who has already proved that he sits at the top table of NFL Quarterbacks. Aside from the Bears game he performed at the highest level in the postseason.
As for the Skins it's shaping up to be a long year, just reading their offensive depth chart makes me feel queasy!
Then again if there is one thing you can rely on in an NFL season is unpredictability, which is partly why it's such a fantastic product.

Don't believe the "experts". Skins will go 8-8 and with a bit of luck 9-7 and challenge for a wild card.
They got better, younger, faster and hungrier in every position and got rid of the biggest locker room distractions. The Defence will be significantly better than last year. They now have the players in place to run the 3-4 and run it well.
The two biggest questions are the depth at O line and QB play but Shannahan knows QBs better than the so called experts. He believes he has game managers in place in Beck and Grossman and their pre season performances have shown real positives.

I hope Pryor can play offensive line and all the defensive positions because Oakland need to become contenders right now as they have thrown away their future. Next year they have no 2nd, 3rd and 4th round draft picks.

Nothing wrong with trading away a cartload of picks to get your hands on an offensive playmaker...
