Hard to say, it's been a pretty disrupted off-season but having our rookies signed and what looks like the majority of our free agents coming back so early after the return to work is only going to be a positive.

We've upgraded the D-line with Ray Edwards from the Vikings, which was an area of concern last season. The offence looks after itself. Julio Jones will slot in opposite Roddy White now Michael Jenkins has been released, enabling us to hopefully stretch the field and give more room underneath for Gonzo as well as being an effective blocker in the running game.

I still think we're a run-stuffing DT/MLB away from being the real deal, but we're in with as good a chance as anyone else in the NFC I reckon.

Randy Moss has just announced he is to retire, hall of famer for sure and an awesome player on his day, just a shame he couldn't keep his mouth closed because he could have still done a job for someone!

Gotta love that Favre's agent said on him being retired ''He’s like Elvis now. People just won’t let go.” Probably because Favre himself has retired then un-retired himself the last three Summers in a row! Aside from a few sycophants in the media most NFL watchers wish that 'The Ol' Gunslinger' would stay in his swamp and not be seen for a while. It's always sad to watch a great player go on too long.

The Dolphins have a real problem at QB, Chad Henne is not the answer long term and has not developed the way many experts predicted that he would coming out of college. Making a play for Kyle Orton would seem a smart move but it's unlikely now that the Broncos would be willing to part as he has outplayed Tim Tebow in camp and is right now at the top of the depth chart.

Can not wait for the new season.

I think the Dolphins should make an attempt to get Carson Palmer, the Bungals would surely take a draft pick for him rather than him retiring and getting naff all. Whether Palmer would want to go there or not is another matter I guess, I can't see him staying 'retired' too long unless he's mad!

As a Patriots fan I am happy to sit back and watch Chad Henne and Matt Moore fight it out for the starting job

I've heard a lot of rumours that the players are not too enamoured with Sparano and he may not be long for the job if Miami have a disappointing year again. Then again the same was said at the start of last season for Lovie Smith and somehow the Bears managed to finish 11-5 despite the O-line almost getting Cutler killed and not appearing to be have that good of a team. As a Bears fan I can not see them winning their division as a healthy Packer team should be so far ahead of the rest of the NFC North. Also with a tougher schedule this season a wild card berth may also be out of reach. However, after the pre season last year I thought the Bears would struggle to win 7 so that's how unpredictable the NFL can be.

For you Dolphins fans feeling depressed just be thankful that you are not a Redskins follower. That's a big bag of nothing right there! Shanahan the genius? just look at his record without one of the greatest QB's of all time in John Elway and tell me he is an elite coach.

Henne is not the man

For the Dolphins I think they need a bad year this season and good QB draft next year. Obviously things wont change over night but they can build around him then like we have with Josh Freeman. A team with a good QB is always going to have a chance in the close games. Regardless of how average the rest of the team can be.

No chance Mike Brown gives Palmer a trade. The lines have been drawn and Brown has form for this. Palmer is either a Bungle or retired, this season at least.

As a Redskins fan I am happy to sit back and watch Bellicheat deal with the cancerous Fat Albert who I note has missed his 3rd day of practice.

Very true. Think you did the right thing in getting rid, he only seems to care when he is after a contract and I think that is what BB is hoping for, use him for a year and hope he can make an impact and if he doesn't perform we can get rid at any time.

We have signed Andre carter aswell what are your feelings on him? I haven't seen many Redskins games in recent years so don't know how he has been performing.

Carter was great about 2004.

Has Haynesworth even been a "great" player? Certainly not since 2008 IMO, the last of his two All-Pro selections.
