I'd be generous and give Saints 19. They didn't win a hubcap or anything at all for their 2002 League Leaders campaign but just because their wasn't a title or trophy doesn't mean it shouldn't be counted.

Clearly then Leeds aren't technically the most successful team in the SL era but their 6 in 9 (and 5 in 6) run of wins in the Grand Final has arguably made them the most significant team of the SL era. And I'm not one of those to dismiss the CC, I would've loved for Leeds to have won a few, but at the same time it clearly isn't the biggest prize on offer.....that is the GF easily and Leeds have gone on a streak that may not be beaten for a very long time, if at all.

Also a key part of the story is still to be written with what happens in the future and how long will they keep going and if when the 'core' is gone how will the club fair? Whilst nothing will take away the likes of 3 GF's in 5 years for Bradford (also a great run of success) that the club fell from grace so quickly does dampen successes like those slightly when you look back now.

So how many trophies do you Leeds fans think you have won in the SL era, or this century for that matter?

They've won the most significant and standout ones during each and every era.

In the Super League Era, I count the total number of major trophies (Super League Champions (Pre-98 and GF winners), League Leaders (03-Present), Premiership, Challenge Cup, World Club Challenge.

St Helens - 18
Leeds - 12
Bradford - 10
Wigan - 8

For anyone who wants to debate the whole Premiership being counted as a major trophy, IMO it's equivalent with the league leaders' shield. Also, including League Leaders from 98-2002 has no effect on the rankings, as Wigan & Bradford each topped the table twice and St Helens did once in that period.

In terms of overall trophies, Bradford & Wigan are both closer to you than you are to St Helens.

Agreed. Cannot see why people (from all clubs) are obsessed with peeing contests about who has won more. As above from watching some dire times over the last few decades I am enjoying what we have achieved and not really bothered about how much more or less we have won.

That's simply because you can't post anything slightly controversial and without going over board too on the Wigan forum without getting banned, It really is a no go zone at times to post anything when Wigan lose a big game such is the zealousness of some of your tetchy mods

Like all boards fans come on after a game, and the Leeds "fans" that post are by far the worst and most offensive.... We all like a little windup, me especially

Your moderators are pathetic and can't take losing, which is funny because you've had good practice at losing semi finals in the last 6 years.

So if we could actually post on your forum then the content of this thread would be spread out over your board in various threads and it wouldn't even exist.

That's the way the cookie crumbles isn't an offensive statement. It is however probably a rather irritating statement if it's posted by someone after a defeat, but you can't ban someone just because you personally find something irritating when theres nothing wrong with the statement.
