Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is what you ACTUALLY posted.
So if not aimed at "Him", who is it aimed at?
I like how people have latched onto a *possible* inaccuracy in *one* of my points, whilst avoiding the many MANY points I've proven thus far to be correct, responded still with the insults and vitriol, as if that somehow makes my (qualified) points null and void.
Let's just establish what I've said from the start of this thread:
1) Wigan were not flawless in discipline, but neither were Leeds - PROVEN
2) Both teams were without very important players - PROVEN
3) The next time Wigan and Leeds meet should be a very good match - SHOULD BE, TBC
4) Pat Richards would probably have made a difference - PROVEN
5) Pat Richards is statisically better than Danny McGuire and Jamie Peacock combined, and has almost as good a strikerate as Ryan Hall & Kevin Sinfield COMBINED (over 5 years... because just based on last year it's BETTER) - PROVEN
6) The overwhelming majority of Leeds fans on this board respond to facts that they don't like with insults, or will wander wildly off topic and berate, for example, an avatar or signature, or even post images from other websites without permission - PROVEN
7) The overwhelming majority of Leeds fans on this board will go quiet for a page or two when suitably embarrassed, only to return and pretend that the bit where they were shown up NEVER HAPPENED - PROVEN
icon_cool.gif Occasionally, a Leeds fan may respond apparently intelligently, however with a completely WRONG "fact"... case in point Sam Buca II with "You would expect a winger/fb (full back) to win... meters(sic) made" - PROVEN
9) People can breach the AUP multiple times on this board and not get punished because "That's not how it works around here." Luckily I haven't broken the AUP once yet, so I won't find out how it DOES work.
10) Danny McGuire sometimes slots in the defence at winger - DISPUTED, TO BE OBSERVED.

| So a winger/fb who does 10-20 kick returns a game at 10-20m a time isnt expected to make more meters than a prop & hb who'll make 7m and maybe 5m respectively?

Of course not! Dont be daft. But don't forget that wingers defend and attack in the middle of the pitch since all stand-off's actually play on the wing.

McGuire has started 207 games in the halves for Leeds. If you want proof pick any one of those (it doesn't matter which any one would do) and note where he positions himself in the defensive pattern.

Not when a prop will make 20-30 drives per game. Plus, you're being rather ambitious on the kick return distance, and conservative on the drive distances.

I don't think so somehow. IF I'm wrong on this one point, there's still 8 more up there (not counting point 3), and point 6 has been proven more and more and more.
Anyone care to explain why Ryan Hall wasn't cited for leading with the elbow? (12mins 37secs on BBC iPlayer, if you need a reference)

You do have a habit of making things up don't you? There were only 2 props in the league who averaged over 20 carries per game last season (and one of them by a very small amount) and only 5 players in the entire league regardless of position managed such a feat as 20 carries per game. So why do you assume all props should? Are you making it up or do you simply not know very much about the sport?

Ah, so we've moved from McGuire spending a lot of time defending on the wing, to you saw him defend there, to you've seen him slot in there. That's a miraculous evolution given the assured manner of your initial post on the issue.

My ESTIMATION had a basis in reality, unlike Sam Buca II's which was way out. In his/her defence, Sam Buca II came up with a reasonable attempt to debate with me.

And you're adept at using childish gutter language, breaking the AUP by subverting the swear filter and failing to comprehend the points I previously made re: Poetic Justice.
As for what should befall Ryan, apparently Sean Long faces a potential 5 match ban for the same offence, although I don't know how they come up with that level of seriousness when Joel Tomkins only got 2 for one that looked more clear cut about 3 weeks ago. A 1 or 2 match ban would be fair, I think.

| Top 10 meters maker in 2010
James Graham (Prop) - 26Apps - 598 Carries - 4036m made - 6.7m per carry
James Roby (Hooker) - 26Apps - 529 Carries - 3749m made - 7.1m per carry
Pat Richards (Wing/FB) - 27Apps - 444 Carries - 3670m made - 8.2m per carry
Nick Youngquest (Wing) - 26Apps - 403 Carries - 3347m made - 8.0m per carry
Ryan McGoldrick (FB) - 26Apps - 511 Carries - 3189m made - 6.2m per carry
Peter Fox (Wing) - 27Apps - 350 Carries - 3100m made - 8.8m per carry
Andy Lynch (Prop) - 25Apps - 506 Carries - 3074m made - 6m per carry
David Hodgson (Wing) - 27Apps - 371 Carries - 3073m made - 8.2m per carry
Rhys Lovegrove (Prop) - 27Apps - 408 Carries - 3029m made - 7.42m per carry
Rangi Chase (HB) - 25Apps - 653 Carries - 3006m made - 4.6m per carry.
So Fishy, only 3 members of the forwards are in the top 10 (1 of them is a machine). 6 of them are either FBs or Wingers.
Does this prove that FBs & Wingers are expected to make more meters than a prop?
Does this prove that a prop's drive distances aren't above 8m per carry which i thought was generous at best and I think you've already been proven wrong when it comes to terms of the forward's carries per game.
A FB/Winger's kick return will be 10m+ but it will be equalled out with the 1st 2-3 carries of a set after a kick being a wing/centre/fb's job to take the ball up.

But it really does. You offer it as evidence and I've offered to have a look to see where McGuire was defending during the build up (I have an extensive Leeds DVD library and I'd be disappointed if I couldn't find the incident you have highlighted.) Gardner has faced Leeds 28 times (2003-2011) while McGuire has scored a total of 16 tries V St Helens. You should note in advance I have no idea which of McGuire's tries this particular one will turn out to be but I am willing to roll the dice.
Post the link from Google and I'll do the rest .... I still can't say fairer than that.

You do that and be sure to come back here when it happens. When McGuire plays stand-off he'll defend 2nd man in on the right between centre and wing - just as all Leeds stand-offs have for several seasons.
