Kudos to the attitude in defence tonight, they put tons more effort in and worked for each other. But attacking, we're like an under 10's team. It doesn't need to be complicated, just get some runners and inject a bit more urgency. We're as pedestrian as 97 year old Gildas crossing Kirkstall Road with a zimmer frame. And as for Sutcliffe. Shouldn't be near the team. Brings absolutely nothing

Our big games are relegation battles.
Absolute waste of time judging us on a game against Saints.
The gap between us and them is enormous.
We are more than 5 years away from challenging them.

This is kind of my point, it’s pointless thinking how bad would it be if Walmsley et al were playing, it’s irrelevant. We need to look at what weve got and how it will manifest in wins against the bottom half, and i can see that if we build on the effort well win them. Not many if any teams defend aswell as saints.

After 5 years of sh 1t it's just depressing to be even worse and looking ahead to relegation scraps. Like everyone I'm just pis sed at the people who have overseen this.

It's realistic but hugely depressing. I look at our young players and I see a fair bit of athletic potential, but a total lack of (Gannon accepted) intelligence. What does that say about the coaching? And then at the senior level the game breaking moment was Sutcliffe's no look overhead pass. I'll say that again - no look overhead pass! It beggars belief that we indulged the fantasy that a player of such limited ability could ever amount to a top class player. GH needs to pull a giant rabbit out of the hat in terms of head coach and then back it up with some ruthless decision making in terms of both the assistance coaching and playing staff. I'll never stop going to the games, but in all honesty I've largely stopped enjoying it since 2015.

Except you aren’t. Your props are utterly terrible but the rest of your first 13 are easily top 6 maybe even top 4. Get a couple of half decent props and you will be golden.

We were lucky that Saints were terrible for a large part of that game because they could have got 70. We really are dreadful. I know it's easy to criticise the coaches because the attack is poor, but what do you expect when your backs have no pace, power or skill?

We are definitely the case study in how not to manage the end of a good side. Agree there's probably not much point harping on about the lack of quality this year, but we desperately need some of the duffers in this side replaced. We may have some wriggle room for this season for a player, but moving forward some of these guys just need to go. They are taking up cap space and adding zero.

The mindset this year has to be about survival. Just as the other lower teams will focus on us, we need to focus on them. Horrible as a fan to see it yet again, but that's where we're at.

I really hope GH gets a new coach sorted quickly. We have two weeks off and hopefully a couple of players back. This should be the opportunity to reset everything. If we meander along with JJB it will be a wasted opportunity.

Effort was there tonight but the structure in attack was woeful. Sutcliffe was waaay too deep and slow time and time again. Broadbent was awful too being totally honest. That back line tonight was the worst I’ve seen in many a year. Appreciate its missing Fusitua Myler Newman but we should have better depth than that. Tindall tried hard but looked underdeveloped physically. Thought Austin tried very hard but had nothing around him.

We are so short of pace and our last tackle plays are embarrassing. Can anyone tell me the point of running it in on the last and just handing it over? You might as well kick it 3 yards sideways and let them drop on it and at least its tackle 1 gone in their set then!

I said pre-season letting Gale go would end up seeing Sutty back in the halves and was told no other team had 3 half backs so its fine. Im not gonna criticise Sutty tho cos everybody knows he cant play half back hes shown us about 40 to 60 times now maybe more. Why do the club persist with this nonsense? Seth was spot on pre game play Leeming there and O'Connor at 9.

They tried hard and made Saints work for it. Both teams was depleted but one is a confident team.

We need a coach in asap now, a few bodies to return, work hard and stick together. Thats all we can do now. Weve got ourselves in a hole at least showing some pride tonight is a start.

Don’t get me wrong we should be nowhere near this situation it is not good enough for this club.

But we are, we need to build on performances each week, the only good thing about this year is that it’s all come to a head, changes will be made

His miss on hurrell was awful, thankfully Koni did his usual ad made a balls up then went into hiding.

Broadbent’s hardly played, then thrown in against Hurrell. What did we expect? This should have been his 5th or 6th game starting. Think you’d see a different player. I can’t comment on specifics as only listened and seen highlights, but we need to stick with these young guys for rest of the year…
