Broadbent had 2 runs on one he was bundled into touch after getting it 3yds in field any winger would have got the same. Stephens is no smaller than Walker or Webb for e.g.

I agree Broadbent had no chance but he still looked like a boy against men.Let him learn his trade and fill out at bit at Fev and then maybe towards the end of the season he may get a chance if we are short.Stevens isn't 18 until March let him also learn his trade.If he played on the wing now there's a good chance he would get smashed to bits and then ruined.

3. Sutcliffe
4. Broadbent or A Sutcliffe
5. Stephens or hall

God forbid if we also got injuries in the back row at the same time and L or A Sutcliffe had to play in the pack as well, in which case you’d go with:

2. Hall

You seem to have this huge issue with Evans or anybody being cover in the squad, even if it is one year to allow younger players to develop so they can take the shirt long term.

Walmsley's a great player, who would undoubtedly go well at Leeds. He's not a 'solution' until he signs though. I fail to see how drawing up fantasy shopping lists counts as a 'solution'.

The solution is suggesting somebody instead of saying oh we want a signing because you said we would sign somebody and we aren’t happy we haven’t signed anybody.

If it was a pure fantasy list do you really think he would be at the top? He is a realistic target, I don’t think we could get him but it is at least plausible we could sign him.

It is so negative all the time, oh we want a signing, we want a signing. I simply asked who?

But if Evans plays and gets smashed or we ship 40 points down his side then it isn’t the end of the world. He is disposable at the end of the season isn’t he? Those young lads are people we may want to build into a team for 7-10 years so getting smashed or shipping loads of points 3-4 weeks in a row could significantly damage them couldn’t it.

What is the point in even talking about players until they are signed and announced? What would be the point in saying oh we haven’t signed anybody, surely if we don’t know anything and can’t know then we should just sit and wait for the club to announce things

Theres no ifs about it, Fans arnt privy to that information, especially in relationship to NRL players. You consistently asking fans to name players who fit a criteria as if it proves something is absolutely pointless, regardless of how many times you say it.

The point of a transfer thread is to discuss players we'r linked with, discuss players we like, discuss players we want rid of etc...Not provide a factual list of available and willing players from the other side of the world.

We'v got a very recent NRL signing who none of us had a clue was a viable option until basically the day we signed him, just to give an example of how pointless it is asking fans to name players who are available and willing to come over, we just dont know, thats the clubs job to know.

For what its worth, im happy with the re-shaping of the squad and agree that waiting for the right player is more important than rushing to get someone in for the sake of it.

Hello. Long time reader, 1st time contributor. Thought I'd share a couple of things I picked up from the trade press this week: 1) Direct quote from Agar re Jai Field in League Weekly - "We've been linked to Jai Field & there's plenty of truth in that. Fieldsy's a guy we think could add to our squad." 2) League Express report we are prepared to bide our time in the search for an Nrl prop. Personally I hope we are looking for a prop to support the likes of Oledski & Holroyd as they develop into the international players their potential promises, but judging from the above quote I'm not sure that's what we have in mind. Finally, has anybody noticed that Russell Packers Wiki states that he has signed for Leeds for 2020? Probably total nonsense, but this a rumour thread.
