It's the world we live in. When you are a highly paid professional who is in a position of influence as pro sportsmen are, there isn't any room for any kind of homophobia, racism or sexual deviance. Everyone knows it's not a particularly heinous crime, but it's something he's got to grow up and move past.

Utter nonsense. There are plenty of other ways to interpret it. I used to do it on the pitch from time to time. In much the same way as saying "aw, I love you too" in mockery of somebody's aggressive carrying on. The idea that I would blow the kiss, but it would suggest that the other party was gay seems a bit illogical to me.

Whatever your view on the severity of his actions, he deserves a ban for being possibly the most stupid man on earth for seemingly (certainly looked pretty clear to me) following up a blown kiss with another homophobic insult on live TV after his recent ban and grovelling statement.

The one thing that's clear to me after the response to Zak blowing a kiss at the Saints player is the complete and utter over reaction of certain posters who are terrified he will stop them from winning their only silverware in years should he play against them again this season. Haha. Good job my new wife is a big rugby fan (Wigan season ticket holder would you believe!?). She didn't mind nipping back the room at 2pm to watch the game. Got it live on Fox Soccer Plus. As it happens it is pis$ing it down for the time being so enjoying the free wifi and a beer on the balcony!
