We have a Research & Development facility at work. Last week we were invited to taste different types of ginger confectionary. The idea is for a new ginger flavoured custard. During the various biscuits and cakes I came across Jamaican Ginger cake. Very nice indeed.

However, what are your thoughts on ginger custard?

P.S. Hope I'm not accused of high-jacking this thread and leading it down the custard route. I fear the AUP!

Slightly O/T... I once (and I mean 10 years ago!) came up with an idea of an alarm clock that monitored your sleeping pattern (via a wristband or headband that takes a pulse or something), then would gently wake you up as close to your specified time as possible, but when you're in a period of light sleep and not deep sleep. Thus, waking you up fresher.

Thought nothing more of it really, then I was watching last weeks episode of the Gadget Show... and there it is, as "new". Dammit. I would've been YEARS ahead of my competitors.

Moral; Get your Ouija-Mouse patented. You never know!

Lemon Drizzle and a brew for me this afternoon.

I just can't work out how to mould the mouse buttons into the base of the upturned glass but the resales after visitations from poltergeists flinging the mouse across the room would ensure a good revenue stream.
