I haven't seen Hardaker play (at least not paid particular attention to) but now that he's joined I may finally get around to watching the Championship Grand Final that has been waiting patiently on the Sky hard-drive.

that's what they're saying on the Hull forum. That we needed to allow Diskin to move on to free up cap space to bring in Westerman.

I heard a few weeks back that we had agreed to sign Westerman for 2012, along with Lawrence from Huddersfield. I put it down to just rumours, as I knew Westerman was looking to move from Cas for the 2011 season, and still think he will.

I think given the chance in a better side Westerman could be a bloody good player. I don't think he plays with all his heart at cas at the moment

he looked like he had the World at his feet when he 1st broke into Super League but IMO it went to his head.

From what you read he also doesn't seem to be the sort of person GH would want at Leeds RE: some of his rumoured off field habits

Westerman hates Leeds with a passion. This doesn't mean he won't sign for us if the deal is right though....

He did an interview for one of the Tigers fanzines a coupld of years ago mate and was asked which club he'd never play for and answered Leeds.
I'd be surprised to see us going after him but i'm sure GH has a signing or 2 lined up.

Of course it was and it can also be read as a "tell them what they want to hear" ala Alan Smith on soccer am.
It hasn't just come from that 1 interview though mate apparently he would'nt want to play for us and it's common knowledge down Cas Vegas way.
Either way he's not been that good for a couple of yrs now so i'd be surprised to see us go after him and IF we are after a young british back-rower i'd go for Ferguson at Wakey.

My information comes from people who know him very well.

i would go with that i would prefer ferguson to Westerman, and i dont really want to see a player in our shirt, who hates the club.
