Is Graham's apparent hatred of Leeds now making him a less effective player against us than other teams?

The red mist seems to descend on him 5 mins before kick-off now (and I don't think his gloating after the try did his team any favours in last years GF)

Fantastic game, brilliant atmosphere and some of the best players on show giving it everything. Couldnt ask for more.

Then you should have opened your eyes for the rest of the game. Bailey did one exactly the same as that, and Clough did 2 exactly the same.

There was no difference in any of the tackles, each was executed the same way. Only one got put on report.

I dont think in any of the siutations, either player were attempting chicken wings, but were performing the wrestling training all players are given into getting a player on his back.

Your team are full of em mate, didn't have much respect for leeds before last night. Now i have non, a bunch of sh*thouses who get away with murder.....

He should have been grown up enough to shake hands with the players at the end of the game and put aside what had happened during the match like the other players all managed to do.

However I do think that some of the reactions by fans has been slightly over the top!

Not shaking hand with the players is very disrespectful and complaining to the officials in the tunnel is out of order too. Although isn’t the first person to do this, nor will he be the last.

defender clamped the ball and was trying to roll the attacker onto his back.

They wouldnt be able to film it in Leeds,theyed have to do it at the Blue Peter studio in London,you know the one,with the huge double doors to let in novelty program items such as the Brighouse and Rastrick band.

I think it'll make him less effective against many teams.....as its been seen in all its glory its not hard to get him off his game.......a little late one here, a stiff arm there, and you've got a ginger freak out on your hands.....

What I noticed last night was the amount of times he chucks the ball away when he doesn't want it.

Also, the amount of third man tackles he does.

On the question of JJB's tackle and Graham's reaction, irrespective of whether it was a 'Storm-esque' chicken-wing or just an attempt to turtle the player (I prefer to think it was the latter, but I'm a Leeds fan and so possessed of those blue and amber specs

), surely Saints fans would rather see him get up and crack someone or, at the very least, get 'stuck in'.
Whatever JJB and, indeed, any Leeds player may have done (no more or less than anyone else IMO), are Saints players really proud of their number who chase the ref, constantly whine and, in the case of Graham, appear to 'make a meal' of their injury to see a penalty etc.
I'd have some sympathy for Potter, but he isn't going to be taken seriously whilst his own players do that which he complains about (and as TVOC has pointed out, JJB ain't the first to face such an allegation......glasshouses etc etc).
Lets concentrate on a great game (Long's cheeky out of the hand move in the second half was class, see not that biased) and a great advert for the tv audience......oh and WE WON!!!!!
