Conservative club outside the ground nearby is the Ruddy Duck, Cats Bar at the ground otherwise City centre.

If it's for the missus, the Ruddy Duck is a good shout. Nothing grand but should be able to yap and get fed and watered in relative peace!
As for the game, I think you've got this, despite our recent good form. Reckon we'll be resting a couple of tired bodies and targeting the Widnes game. Shame Ali couldn't make it.

Yeah, I'm bringing my mate who is also bringing his missus.
Was talk of both our missus' coming to game but I've advised them they would be better off in the Pub!!

Bad planning mate.
Let the women go to the game you stay in the pub and watch the game on Sky.

That made me laugh
Will be more than happy if we can run you close.

Wakey are even worst than that when they win. When they beat Wigan a few weeks back they mostly went on about how the ref tried to screw them out of the game.

Wrong, I think that is the first time in living memory the consensus was the ref had a good game! We don't all have the luxury of bringing our own ref (Sinfield) so sometimes can get a bit fed up relying on some of the worse refs in the pool.

| YES BUT PRINTER WE WON, so when you have a go at the ref you know he must have been poor .Or was he.
Like I said I will be more than happy to run Leeds close , but should we scape it with a 50 50 call great.

I read the board, Liam Farrell and Gelling were guilty of murder and the ref bottled it because he wanted the big club to win.

You mean the one where about two people said we were robbed and everybody else disagreed with them and thought we just didn't play well enough?

| We need to win this sort of game, IMO, if we are to stay in contention for a top 2 and a nice home play-off tie. I don't think we'll get an easy time from Wakey though. If Wakey did decide to take their foot off the gas and give us an easy ride then I'd happily take that at this point in the season (not great for spectators but good for squad freshness and points difference). Can't really see them doing that though.
Leeds by 8.

| that was appalling. mcguire stunk the place out. as captain, and a senior player, he hid all game. one good kick was his contribution.
mulhearn was good for the last 4 or 5 minutes he got on for.
peacock grafted, silly penalties aside aiton worked hard. the rest?
rubbish. absolute rubbish and the coach should take massive stick to.
no game plan, no structure, nothing

Wasn't appalling, just frustrating.
We weren't overall bad, just lack of anything good.
Defence....ok but needed to stop the offload more. Attack.....ok getting up the field, but unimaginative to split open the defence.
Penalties for laying on/holding were non existence and softly given.
McGuire wasn't great but he never hides IMO (sometimes I wish he would)......Sutcliffe is the one still hiding too often.
Not sure how you can say Mulhern was good considering how little time he was on.
Delaney and Bailey disappointed considering they were older heads out there. Thought Robbie Ward was worthy of more game time. BJB again comes up with one piece of great play but the rest is poor. Briscoe looks timid and almost reluctant to return the ball.

Think that's unfair on BJB. Was generally safe under the high ball and was our only running threat. Hardaker would probably have stopped the second Wakefield second try but not many other fullbacks in the league would have.
Was very disappointed with Delaney and Stevie Ward. We missed Ablett badly, partly because he can make his own breaks and partly because Moon and Hall didn't get any ball (thanks to McGuire and Delaney, largely). Watkins and Briscoe look really short of form. On the positive side, Peacock was his usual, Aiton and Walters impressed in defence, and Robbie Ward looked bright.
