2000 - not a fun day. Sat with the Bulls fans thanks to the RFL's screw up. Lost but expected to.

2003 - defeat but was a great game. Enjoyed the day.

2005 - Not so grand. Whereas in 2000 I never expected to get close in 2005 I had no doubts the cup would be won.

It may just be in my head thats why, Late in the second half about 20m out Harris put Hay through a big gap down the Bradford Right hand side but Hay couldnt take the ball, it was right in line with us and thats how I like to remember it anyway.

But seeing as the score was 24 -18 it would have only been a draw if converted anyway.

Something happening in the dying minutes that could have led to a draw rings a bell with me but I couldn't tell you who/what it was.

Re: the 2000 final I expected a hammering but I recall leaving the stadium feeling that with an extra 5 mins we'd have had 'em.

Porbably my favourite is beating wigan in 99 after barrie mac got sent off.

Honestly i just want us to win as many super league titles as possible.

I want us to overtake st helens and have more titles than any other team.

Obviously the cc would be the next best thing but getting knocked out early gives you a great chance with the grand final.

I was dissapointed when we got knocked out this season but deep down I felt hey, we gonna have a good chance with the grand final and quite frankly that's all i care about.

Saints could win 10 cc's on the trot i just want us to compete in grand finals as often as possible and history shows since the cc moved it interferes with winning the title.

I see the super league as an opportunity for leeds to write their name into the history books. To create legends.

In the cc it's all been done. wigans great run, saints recent dominance, but the super league grand final, theres lot's of history to be made.

Just the way I saw it mate - if it had been the season before they wouldn't have been relegated from the position they finished.

No problem with Catalans being in it now, but still think Widnes were badly done to at the time.

No they wern't. They knew the rules at the start of the season. As did every club.

Widnes weren't relegated to make way for Catalans anyway - Cas were.

Widnes were relegated for Leigh.

The certainty was that the bottom club would be relegated & Catalans admitted. Second to bottom's relegation was dependent on who finished top in NL1 and their ability to fulfil SL criteria.
