For the record I'd made St Helens slight favourites going in but would never back against Leeds, never have and never will.

Pryce not playing made Leeds favourites anyway.

I am still adamant if we preform the way we did against a full strength Saints we would have been defeated. Having said we looked a lot better in attack today however our goal line defense remains a worry. Lots of positives to be taken from the game today and hopefully we can sustain a run of form into the play-offs.

The facts are the bookies had Leeds +2 and I agreed with that assessment prior to Pryce withdrawing. +2 is nothing though (one bad call from the referee), in fact I thick some bookies might have had both teams off scratch pre game.

Personally, my view was if we could keep Pryce quiet we were in with a chance. Whan I found out he wasnt playing gavve me that bit more optimism that we would do it.
