I'd just like to Leeds complete some sets and apply some pressure, we did it after 20 mins against Salford and then took control after as a result after half time - we earned the right to play. What I don't want to see Leeds throw the ball around like headless chickens from minute one. Leeds will do well if they do the basics right and build into the game for the first 20 mins.

For one. Have you watched Ali's performances this season, Warrington and Stains? He has had more than the odd nightmare moment which has cost us dearly yet some how misses your list. Care to justify the ommission.

Part 1 says nobody should be singled out for blame. Which I stand by.

Part 2 says everybody is having moments of genius followed by moments of stupidity, other than Kirke, who's having neither.

There's a difference between suggesting that Kirke is in the most part anonymous (which is true), and singling him out as the one to blame for our early season form (which at no point do I do!).

As far as me justifying the omission of Ali... I've not mention him because I don't think anybody should be singled out as to blame? Did I not say that?!

There is also a difference in the playing ability of Wigan & Warrington, compared to Wakefield & Crusaders.

Don't think Kirke is a world beater by any stretch.
However, it annoys me that some see it as a weekly event to bag Kirke no matter what. It's funny once but for the 30th time they come across as sad, bitter & twisted.

I can honestly say I do not see "bagging" Kirke as a weekly event. And I agree. "Bagging" him 30 times would be very sad, bitter & twisted. Not to mention painful. Probably painful.

Kirke has come up with massive plays year after year. From from putting a massive shot on mike Bennett(who took no further part in the game) in the 07 GF to running down Sykes at Bradford, running down Dixon at Cas.

Kirke is a bottom tear cap player. Some people need to face up to that.

Imo Talent wise and wages wise we get as much from Kirke than we are burrow, Ali, Webb. Those guys are truley gifted and probably on double kirkes wage if not more. our big guns need closer scrutiny too.

Agreed. Especially in the context of the cap and talent out there. For example Jerrad sammatt is playing for crusaders!!!! And we have burrow trying his heart out but getting nowhere fast. his kicking game against saints was shocking.

There's more at fault than Kirke for our inability to do the basics right.
