for the LAST time i am on about your players and coaches, not you men on this forum or anyone on the forum. for a player or coach DIRECTLY involved in the club and the sport as a whole they should keep their bickering comments for the training pitch and hope it pays off on the day like it appears wigan are. jeez.

the behavious POST-match might i add as the final whistle may as well have gone. further to which tommy L has apologised but the childish antics of peacock in the press basically confirms that you aren't interested in making amends or accepting an apology. so what if it was wigan or saints or whoever??? they shouldn't say stuff like that full stop, not in the press anyway. they may as well have declared their hatred of the taliban and handed out free tickets to bin laden's family for the next game and encouraged WMDs at the ground. it was literally trying to start the fight before the match has kicked off which is not what RL is about and the RFL should have pulled them both up about it when they pull up others for a lot less.

basically leeds may fancy themselves to win the match but they should concentrate on trying to win it by winning the match and not brawling and cheating their way to the win and talking the game into a mass brawl, which is my point.

therefore i'm sure wigan will not apologise if and when they dish out a good beating to peacock's side tomorrow while he is helpless doing nothing other than spout his usual high pitched lispy dribble from the stands.

again, i'm a fan therefore i'm allowed to be "childish" or opinionated wherever i may be. he however is not as he should be setting an example or at least keeping his mouth shut unless he was able to go out on the pitch and play in the game himself which we know he can't due due to his injury. pointless jibber jabber. much like your lot.

Leeds have done well to finish forth and to take the final elimnation spot of you bearing in mind our season long injury spell but I feel that Saturday may be a step too far without JP and DMc.

The Thomas Leuluai private apology (and good on him for correcting his earlier reaction) shows there was a lot of feeling at the final whistle and I'd have much preferred for the Leeds player and coach to have left it at that but I also don't think Clarke's bizarre comment that followed deserved to go unchallenged by the club either.

to be honest even as a wiganer i never listen to what phil clarke says or anyone who comments on the rugby for that matter. if you leeds fans give him a bad ride tomorrow then i'll neeither be behind it or against it but either way what goes around comes around so he'll get whatever he may deserve. maybe i took the peacock thing a bit too personally as a wigan fan but i'd hope i would have felt the same if any player was spouting about another teams' players too if it was unjust.

anyway, pointless banter and correcting aside, here's to a top game tomorrow, i just hope whats gone on in the press from all parties doesn't make for crowd, pitch or presenter trouble and everyone can enjoy the day
