Would rather see hardaker at fb and a new centre

Said myself I would like to see hardaker at fullback, but if there really was an opportunity to sign this lad Moltzen you take it. He can play fullback at top level, in the halfs, or anywhere else across the backs. He is of a quality that I think we all thought you could not attract from the NRL now, with the currency rates and the NRL salary cap flexibility.

He's a very good player, but abit error-prone at full back. I do think he'd improve your squad but he's still not the complete player...

Reading the comments on the highlight clip he seems to be prone to quite a few errors but does look to posses some genuine pace. He almost just seems to be a younger version of Webb, maybe a bit more versatile.

I watch the NRL on Premier Sports and agree this lad would be a good signing,but.........................as I've already said I cannot see him coming to England at this stage of his career and I'm pretty sure this is just his Agent getting him a better deal with Wests or elsewhere in the NRL.

With the Wests connection, IF he was going to end up anywhere in SL, I'd imagine Hull F.C stood as good a chance as any and they also need a replacement Fullback.

Given his ability to play SO i'd agree though that he'd be an ideal replacement to fit in with our style of play given how Webb is used as an extra half back creating and linking a lot of our attacking play over the years and i'm not sure yet whether Hardaker or BJB will offer that same linking/creating ability as I see both as good runners in open/broken play from fullback but not convinced they have the passsing game to set as many tries up as Webb has over the years. Moltzen is one I thought we might be targeting a few weeks ago when I heard his deal to the Dragons (I think) had fallen through. I've always been impressed with him watching Wests. He certainly does have a fair bit of pace and attacks the line with purpose. Runs some really good lines.

Moltzen would be a great signing (if it comes off as I agree it could be simply his agent trying to boost the Wests contract). If we want a fullback in Webb's mould then we are not going to get a better fit. As he's only 23, I think he could still play in ESL for a period and still have time to return to the NRL , like Delaney. Let's hope GH pulls it off! Could this mean the end for players like Smith whose strength is his utility value and Moltzen offers far better quality in these areas?

Not in the slightest bit interesting. Only a blind man would see Ryan Hall as a good option for fullback. His weakness is turning with a ball on the floor, something all fullbacks have to deal with in a game.

I keep saying, Hall's skill set would be best at second row if he was to be moved from wing.

Moltzen is very much a confidence player. On a good day, he can be superb, on a bad day he can be horrendous under the high ball, and very much a liability. Having said that, I'd have him in an instance at fullback. He's got the X-factor and is a great ball player.

As for Hall to fb, if McD really thinks that's a viable option, why didn't he play Hall there on Monday. If he's being serious, it would have been much more sensible to try him there against a lesser opposition such as Wakey, and Zak could have used this game to further his experience as a centre. Again with the powderpuff defences on show on Monday, he could have practised creating space for his winger. Utter nonsense quote from McD!

Moltz is a bit of a baby...a sookie type fella, hard to respect but has pace and some talent, but doesnt miind dogging it or letting a team mate know he's ed up - which really s me.

At least there appears to be some belated recognition that Hall's talents are wasted out on the wing in this present team....especially now that Webb is not going to be around to actually get some ball to him.

Maybe we'll see Chisholm on the left wing yet.

Under the present coaching team, you've got more chance of seeing jism on the left wing.......

Moltzen is a good, talented player. I'd love to see him at Leeds. Sadly, I can't see it happening.
