Don't listen to Harrigan, we were totally dominant marching up and down the field behind Torrain at will. If our dumb kicker had a range greater than 5 yards or we had a better red zone offence we'd have been out of sight. Also, there was no luck in the Blount fumble, Hall went for the ball, that was good D, not good luck.

As for recent developments I am bemused. Mcnabb has been poor, statistically, but his surrounding cast is terrible. We need a new interior line and some decent receivers. These were the same issues Campbell had, Brunell has and Ramsey had. So why do they continue to think a new QB will fix it? Thing is, we might've had a better chance of fixing some of those areas had they not thrown away 2 high picks on McNabb which now looks like a waste. Also, I don;t get why they want to take a look at Grossman. The whole league knows his capabilities and it aint pretty!!! Shannahan still has the benefit of the doubt with me but I think he's set back our re-building process a long way by giving up the picks for Mcnabb then ditching him too quickly.

Having said that, we've got 5 wins and it won't hurt some of the prima donnas in that locker room to realise that whoever you are, even Mcnabb, if you play badly, you're out!!

It's certainly been an odd season for the Redskins, and doesn't reflect well on Shanahan - part of coaching is getting the best out of your players, and he hasn't done that with the two guys (McNabb and Haynesworth) who were potentially two of the best on the roster.

Wow that was a strange end to that game, Green Bay didn`t deserve to lose that, they were superb on offence especially Matt Flynn, he did what he needed to and kept our offence off of the field, I guess our D stepped up when they needed to at the end which is a good thing for us, I thought the call on Tully Banta-Cain that took away the Merriweather INT was a bit dodgy seeing as Bulaga(?) had his hands in his face too but that happens in every game.

Green Bay have a good backup there by the looks of it

You couldn`t make it up could you, they show redzone so "all the keys plays are shown live and we dont miss a thing" then they miss what was probably the biggest play of the day!!

From what I can make out because of our tiebreakers against other teams the only way we can lose the #1 seed in the AFC is if we lose both our games and the Jesters win theirs, great position to be in



I`m the same as you and your team though, we are winning games but our D is always going to let in points so if the Offence doesnt fire on all cylinders we can easily lose and let it all go to waste.

To be fair to him I wouldn`t want to retire from the game I loved and had played all my life, but when your getting smashed into the ground every game and getting a new injury everytime you should know when to call it a day before you do permanent damage.
