| Looking forward to the Smithites coming along to explain to those of us who could see months and months ago that this style of rugby was never going to challenge a team who are able to defend and attack together, that this is a genius at work and we just have to back him and be patient.

| Quote ="Seth"After plenty of games in our attack in the opposition 20 is still clueless.'"
The two things that have been consistent every game this season have been that we concede field position and dont make any yards in the first half and when we do get in the opposition 25 we have zero attacking plays other than a ball turned back inside. It was fair to say that with new players RS should be judged after 10 games but for me we have been very consistent in our performance and style of play with similar type performances every game.
This is not toys out of the pram or saying sack the coach but we can all see what needs to change. Yes some bad luck but we have been dominated up front by a team missing first 3 choice props. Williams front foot ball all night.

To anyone with a pair of eyes these big problems have been evident for a long time we look no different to last year. No laughing boys will be around tonight. I hear when the grounds dry up we'll really put some big scores on some teams...

Warrington Brush Aside The Rhinos To Return To The TopWhen the just two points cover the top seven teams in the competition then many games become top of the table clashes and a Friday night encounter between the Leeds Rhinos and Warrington Wolves at Headingley Stadium was one such occasion. A big win for the Wolves, by a margin of more than twenty points, would see them back to the top of the table and while victory for the Rhinos would see them level with at least three other teams on points, they would need an unachievable winning margin of at least ninety-one points to overtake Wigan on points difference. The bookies made the home side slight favourites for the win and handicapped them by four points on the coupon, it promised to be a close match between two sides who are still seeking some 2024 consistency. | Thought Warrington were okay.
Trouble is, when you can only score eight and concede thirty odd to an okay side then it's shaping up to be a long old season

We have little chance of making the top 4 already and doubt we will make the Top 6 either, tonight was a bitter defeat all their trys were easy soft efforts to concede

| Nothing new to say when it's the same old.
Under coached, silly errors/ mistakes, short kick off stupidity, conceding 80m a set, playing all game in our 20, little go forward, no structure, light bench poorly used, more injuries or bans coming fir depleted pack that was bare bones before season started, no leader, no direction, hoping for miracle plays, blah blah.
Hope people enjoyed the game though, it's part of the plan. All that hard running warrington did will mean by the next time we meet Leeds are better in the energy battle

| That performance brought together everything we've had coming to us over a number of weeks. I said it last week but again RS can go for me he's had enough time and resources and still turning in displays like that, this season its usually been for 40 and we've got away with some but this week it was the 80.

I say it every week and get shot down. Missed that mongrel massively tonight as we don’t get it from soft cock$ Oledzki or Holroyd.

| That`s got to be one of the worse performances I`ve seen since erm last season.
When you think apart from 2 or 3 players that was our first 17 out there.
We missed Bentley for sure who would have tightened the defence.
Handley and Holroyd going off didn`t help.
But Warrington had half their pack missing and still out played us.
Williams had all the time in the world to orchestrate and what I felt is a slightly above average Warrington they outplayed us in every position on our own patch.
Plenty to work on for a week or so and a couple of winnable games ahead.
Time is ticking.

Agreed. Wire were ok. They had to do nothing more than run with intent. Play the majority of the game in your own 30, never mind own half, and the result is pretty much nailed on. When we did have the ball we had no real idea, very little go forward (lots of lateral movement though, again) and certainly no depth to the attack.

| I like Rohan and how he put belief in the team in 2021 but we haven't improved on last year and pre-season doesn't look to have achieved much. Miller needs to knuckle down in defence or leave. Cam Smith needs to speed up or be a prop. 1 good pass every 5 weeks isn't enough.
Rohan needs to get the spine playing together within the next 2 weeks or I think he might be in trouble.
It's awful watching Leeds at the moment. We can only score from kicks, interceptions or Handley from long distance.

Don`t think we will be seeing Miller leave.
Where will he go!?
Fitzgibbon is also the sort of second rower we needed but once again lost out to Wire.

| We could very well win the next 2. But I think it’s 6th at best for us, maybe with huge improvements we might get 5th. I said at start of season anything less than top 4 imo is a failure by Smith. I’m just not convinced by his coaching whatsoever. It’s the same stuff being dished up week after week since start of last season. You can clearly see his coaching impact now.
We were totally flat right from the start, getting knocked off tackles left right n centre. We just look very very average and soft as hell. I think the roster is better than what we’re seeing but Smith isn’t getting a tune from the squad he’s put together.. next 4 or 5 games are huge.

If he doesn't leave he needs to grow a pair. His last game for the Knights worried me but I put it down as a one off.
Really don't know where we go without a big mid season signing.

| Have to be honest, the new players are under performing. Salford must be laughing al the way to the bank. Croft and Ackers are pretty underwhelming. Mom is average. Frawley just needs to buy a ticket back to Oz. He is utter e. We are 4 players short of a decentish squad. A proper half back, centre, hard prop and ball playing 13. C Smith has looked average at best this season.
Our tackling is shoddy as ever. Wire put us to ground on virtually every play. Mostly on our backs. We just tickle them in defence.
Such a disappointment when there was real promise with the signings.

| We have no props that would get into any of the top 5. You can have all the backs you want just like in the early 90's, but without the forwards to make yardage and dominate the opposition the backs are a waste of money.
This will be another long season with or without smith until we recruit 2 good hard props.

| Thought McDonnell was very good again and O’Connor, but I’d struggle to pick anyone else out for much praise tonight.
Errors again (do my head in).
Almost comical when we got into good ball for a rare time in the first half: we had a set play for once off the scrum and completely muffed it.
Tough result to take at home that one. Pressure is certainly mounting on Smith. Luckily we have 2 weeks to regroup and try to put things together for some vital winnable fixtures.
