If it's the incident I'm thinking of McGuire rather than Sinfield was the designated kicker but L'Estrange I think it was got up and put pressure on the kick.

It was good blood and thunder stuff, with a fair bit of thud and blunder thrown in. I thought we tried too much flashy stuff without doing the basics in possession and coughed up too much possession. We then fell off far too many tackles in the first half.

Bradford were far better than I've seen them in a while though (the game was nothing like as turgid as last year's...). They were good value for their point.

Well what can you say - Bulls deserved a point IMO in what was a game where skill was very sadly lacking. Did we have any half backs/hooker on the field if we did I didn't notice their contribution.

Elliott Whitehead was head and shoulders above any other player on the field - although playing opposite JJB must be a dream come true.

JP completely lost the plot and cost his team mates the point with a pathetic show of petulance towards the official. It is no wonder we struggle for quality officials when prominent players show such a lack of respect - no ref no game!! What message does this send out to youngsters just taking up the game? Refs have to start in the junior game don't forget.

I am struggling to fathom McDermott's substitution policy - Richard Moore did 2 minutes in the second half when the team was under the pump for the last 15 minutes. Ablett had a shocker yet stayed on the whole game?

As for the rest Watkins great try but he is not a FB his reading of the game and particularly his defence was once again exposed get him back to the centre and bring Watson in. The 3/4s gave nothing understandable given the quality of the ball coming from the half backs. Of the forwards both JJB and Delanney were poor - JJB is a penalty machine and Delanney looks spent - his attempt at a tackle in the lead up to the first try was embarrassing.

Leeds were lucky to get a draw - unless McDermott makes some changes for Monday - Ablett and Delanney look like they both need a rest - it could be very tough.

Finally will Bailey ever hit anyone when a ruck kicks off? funny seeing Diskin push him over as if he were domino.

We didn't even deserve a point from that game. Our goal line D for 2 of the dulls trys was simply soft.

Bradford sh*t themselves every time Watkins got the ball at anything other than 1st man, although it was hard to tell because he didn't get it at any point between the 24th second and the 35th minute.

Leeds need to get Hardaker back fit and see if last season's full-back form was a real indicator or just an initial flash.

Watkins needs to get back to centre and work on his tackling - it has always been suspect one on one and this is being highlighted as a last line of defence but he was coping better in contact with players around him before the shift.

Ablett might then be able to rest whatever injury he's currently got.

And please Mr Hetherington Sir can we have a hooker - a proper one - who the coach might trust enough to play from the start and give him long minutes.

After watching the game last night (which incidentally) was a great game. I think my original impression of Bateman was correct.

Several of them were too busy beating Australia down under and winning the Ashes for GB in front of crowds of 60k+ or winning the World Cup instead. I agree BTW... that was Leeds last great side.

What was the chant. we were quite away from that end of the ground so didn't hear anything. I would be surprised if that was why was he was underused that happens on a weekly basis, although not usually to the extent it did last night.
