If you wanted a system to fleece away fans the price differential would be much higher and would apply to both advance and on the day sales. The fact that a remarkable number of away fans are just plain cheap is not down to the FC management.


ST pricing was adjusted. Bring a friend for free won't work with our user agreement - we'd actually lose money as we'd be paying the SMC for non-paying punters. Many FC fans initially disagreed with the pricing structure but have since got so peed off with all the whining and hand-wringing have changed their minds.

Come or don't. It's a free(ish) country, and at least the pricing is a new excuse for being absent.

So, once again, why is the "away stand" the most expensive part of the stadium when it's behind the posts if it's not to make extra money from away fans?
It's 13 pages and no-one has answered it yet. You can try and defend it all you want but there's probably a reason why fans of every other club are complaining about the pricing policy.
Season tickets are £250. How much were they before if that's a discounted rate?
Why did Hull enter into such a restrictive agreement with the SMC then? It seems daft to have an agreement that doesn't allow for effective marketing and promotions. It's not in the SMC's interest either to have less people at the stadium. Wasn't Adam Pearson the Head of the SMC?
So FC fans thought the plan was stupid? But when other people agreed with them the plan was stupid the FC fans have changed their mind to think its a good plan? I know logic isn't popular in the area around the KC but I didn't think illogical thought had reached such Spock-like proportions in Hull. Although if that kind of thinking is rife it does go someway to explain Big Brother & his posts.

Sometimes, staying in all day and relying on newspapers for all of your life experiences does you no favours at all.

Its what happens when, as a tenant, you need the premises more desperately than the landlord needs to rent it to you - you can only negotiate from a position of strength, when you are skint you take whatever is offered - see also Wigan.

The pricing structure that Hull FC has put in place optimises the insular, xenophobic, militant attitude that the residents of Yorkshire’s carbuncle have.

They hate outsiders and charging an extra £6 for away fans to sit in their rented stadium typifies their intolerance to none Hullians.

I think you're missing the point. If the RFL had the same rules regarding respect for away fans as are in place in football, Pearson would not be allowed to price his seats as he has done. Although the pay on the gate price is high in its own right, it would be just about palatable if it the equivalent seats for home fans were the same price.

Looks like the away supporters are picking up the tab of Pearsons needless litigation.

I don't need to fat boy, I'm merely stating the facts and my own view on the South Stand pricing.

Upshot is it will cost Leeds fans £1.00 more than last season, but please keep on whining.......

It will also cost us our soul.

Simple...Pre book your ticket before match day and pay £23, then you will find out it's not the most expensive in the stadium.
